Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

There's More Than One Way to Skin a Card - - -

.
I don't mail out Christmas cards any more. Every year at this time when YOUR cards start arriving at my door, I feel overwhelming GUILT because I haven't sent a card in about 13 years.

But, my dear loved family, friends, and bloggy buddies - - - THERE IS MORE THAN ONE WAY TO SKIN A CARD! And this is mine.

So, scroll on down and know as you read I'm sending you warmest wishes from my hearth (or more accurately lappy) to yours!

BROYLES' CHRISTMAS CARD 2009

We're ready for Christmas,
Both outside and in!

Snow covered our yard
And our street and then - - -

We hung up our stockings
And decked up our halls - - -

We put out our baubles
And spruced up our walls - - -

We set up our houses
And lined up our kings - - -

And all over the place
We Christmasized things!!

There was method to our madness,
There was reason to our rhyme - - -

We wanted to wish you
A Merry Christmas time!!

Thinking of you
And wishing all the Joy this season can bring.

Love,
Greg and Keetha
.

Ok, Keetha....my sense of humor and I apologize...

BUT--you know its a celebration when "We put out our baubles
And laid out our balls - - -"....

I know. I know. That was bad.
Back on topic.....
Keetha! You are so clever. I could never come up with a card as cute and catchy! I love it!

Keetha, Merry Christmas to you and yours. May the new year bring you continued blessings.

Remembering the reason for the season,
Your friend,
Leigh

Love Leigh's sense of humor.

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Keetha. I actually feel somewhat like Christmas has come and gone. Our kids and grandkids were here this weekend for our Christmas get together. This is their year to be elsewhere. I put the last four on a plane for Seattle today.

We had a wonderful time, and it was good to all be together. Hope you have your family all together this Christmas.

Do not feel guilty, my dear! That's a wonderful Christmas greeting and it was way more clever and personal than most are. (My poor recipients had to endure my yearly newsletter. Yawn!)

Ya got a nice set of baubles there, hon!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Have a wonderful and blessed holiday. We are SO enjoying having everyone at home for 2 weeks -- I forget how much I miss that!

Your house looks beautiful; love the stair garland, and those big nutcrackers. I hope you keep the balls away from them!

Love, Cass

Thank you so much for the lovely Christmas greeting. I have not in the past sent out many cards, but did this year as I had such a great response from my blogging friends on my 80th birthday. Just wanted to show my appreciation in some small way. Enjoy your time from school, and wishing the very best of holiday wishes, and that the New Year will treat you well.

Wait a minute - Who's Greg? What have you done with Fisherhubby? How could you send out a bloggy Christmas card without Fisherhubby's name on it. Oh dear.

hahahaha!

I send out cards because I love to do it. If I'm not excited about doing it, then I don't and there have been several years where I didn't mail out a single card. I hope you don't ever feel guilty about receiving and not giving in kind -- because my dear -- you give. :)

Merry Christmas, Keetha and whoever that Greg guy is...

I think I like your Christmas card best...and I am totally stealing this idea next year! ;-)

I hope you had a very merry. My holidays seems to be one, bright, colorful, tangled blur of Christmas lights already! I don't know why things were so hectic this year...they just...were!

Here's to a happy, healthy and prosperous 2010. Thank you for always making me smile when I visit.

P.S. I can't stand the Jets so it pains me to rub in the Colts loss...but... ;-)

Love it! Thank you! I didn't do Christmas cards either this year and felt guilty...but there just aren't enough hours in the day around here-and I'd like to think I chose Bella over a Christmas card. :) Love this idea!
