Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Making the Switch

.
Our cable provider, due to an increase in cost, decided to drop CBS.

Do you realize what this means?????

Well, let me just tell you. It means: No Texas/Oklahoma game on Saturday. No LSU/Florida game on Saturday. AND no Colts/Ravens game on Sunday.

Oh people, and this doesn't even BEGIN to include regular programming like NCIS, CSI, CSI Miami, CSI NY, and Criminal Minds.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Guess who's switching back to Dish? - - - AND saving money in the process. Wooooot!!!

I had this EXACT conversation with my Daddy not 12 hours ago.

I think his major concern was if my stepmum could get them out to his house before Sunday - He got his Masters from LSU and I'm only a Manning fan because he taught me how to love them.

I am so glad we are on Dish...

I can't find my blog said...

How can they do that? That's a network, for pete's sake?

Aaaaaaaaggghhhhhhh!!!! (Can you hear me all the way over there?)

So, where will you be spending your weekend?

OK girls - - - though we DID sign up for Dish last night, we aren't going to get connected until TUESDAY!!!! (Booo Hiss) There IS an outside chance if they get a cancellation or two we could get connected yet today.

Char - - - I will STILL be spending my Saturday watching what games I can see at home - - - otherwise I'd have to change out of my comfy jammies, and we CAN'T have THAT on a Saturday now can we???

Headless - - - there REALLY OUGHT TO BE A LAW, don't ya think???? And thanks for the sympathetic groan. I FEEL it way over here.

I thought you had the football package?

Although that doesn't help for all those other shows.

No WAY!!!! I'd have to crash at someone else's place to see OU/Texas, seein' as I'm a Sooner(attended but didn't graduate). My hubby's a Longhorn(fan) and has the kids brainwashed too. But that's ok because the Sooners almost always kick those stoopid Longhorns squarely in the keester!

We can't wait, can you tell???LOL

Doesn't it stink about losing the coverage of OUR COLTS ?

Well, I'll think about ya on Sunday. I'll be AT the game !

Blake is coming home for TU's Homecoming & he convinced his Dad to get tickets for Sunday's game.
(Didn't really take that much talking to get Big Daddy to go for it). :-)

Have a good w/e.

Keri,I do have a sports package - - - but SOME games are ONLY on CBS, and that would be these IMPORTANT games this weekend.

Leigh - - - they DID do it. They are trying to play some black-mail game with CBS to get them to lower their fees. I think all its going to do is loose the cable company customers. At least I'm outa- there!!!

Molly - - - I can hardly STAND that I can't see the TX/OK game. Booooo Hisssssss.

Jackie - - - enjoy the game and tell Blake hello.

Oh Molly - - - how SILLY of me to get those two cornfused. You are right - - - I CAN see them. What would I do without you?????

:-)

I'm still switching back to Dish.

Your cable company is dropping a major network like CBS? I would be switching also! I love CSI and the Amazing Race.

Keetha Broyles said...

Yes Julie - - - and guess what!? The price increase which caused them to DROP CBS was ONLY 4 cents/month/customer. I would have PAID the four cents gladly!!!!

As it is - - - they lost us because today the installer came and we now have Dish.

:-)

I DID have to miss the Colts game though, the installer got here AFTER it was over.
