Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Frageriffic Friday

.
Anybody besides me STILL fraggin' this late on a Friday afternoon??? I HOPE so.

* * * * * * * * * * *

My friend Eloise (E-Lois) came by today, picked me up, and took me to an antique shop that's only open a few days a year.

Today was one of those open days.

I went in there planning to JUST LOOK and buy nothing. I bought all this cute stuff - - - Eloise bought next to nothing.

It always seems to work out that way when I shop with Eloise. She takes me, I spend $$$$, she doesn't.

Well, at least I got some great things - - - or at least I think I got some great things.

Including this lily white chamber pot.

What's that? You don't know what a chamber pot is????

I ain't tellin', you'll just have to google.

This is what libraries USED to look like.
Quaint and Cute.

Not so much anymore
I kinda miss those "olden days."

Olden is a very Wisconsin word.

I worked at our not so olden city library today.

I wore one pair of these library shoes.

OK, so the zebra pair aren't QUITE kosher.
The rules said, "No thong type flip flops."
I choose to believe these are sandal type flip flops.
Until someone tells me not to wear them,
I'm wearing them.

I don't think our grandson Mackinley realizes it's HOT outside.

This is our fashionista daughter, Korie.
These are her newish glasses.

She says they are the latest thing.
If she says so, I believe her.

Of course, she'd be cute no matter WHAT she wore!

Another gorgeous little teapot that I resisted buying for myself.

Mommy's Idea

Please head on over to Mrs. 4444's place

And check out all the Friday Fragments.

Now Korie looks both super smart to go with her "cute".

I love your finds at the antique store. Lots of red there, girl.

My goodness you better not go with your friend anymore. You really went hog wild in your purchases. I can relate to so many of the things you got. I am sure we will see just how you chose to use them.

Just think of all the $$$$ you saved so you can spend it on WI football. By the way the University of Northern Iowa just scheduled Wisconsin for next season. They (UNI) need the money. I believe they also play Iowa in preseason that year too. Good for them.

My deceased SIL used to invite me out to eat and after I ordered, she would tell the server she didn't care for anything! I would get so mad at her but she was a tiny little thing- so cute and sweet. I couldnt stay mad at her for long.

I use to have two wall hangings with doorknobs. Looking at those I kinda wish I still had mine. Love the red goodies. Yes, those glasses are in!!! Have a nice weekend.

You got all that stuff?? Yowsza! You had a field day. I've always liked the vintage red utensils and the three "hooks" - oh swoon!

You have caught the antiquing bug! Looks like you found some great stuff. I think it would be fun to serve soup out of a chamber pot - a really clean one of course. Just to see what people might say. ;)
