Earlier I posted a tribute to my Aunt Doris. This little house is the place where all those memories were made. Sister Pam, Dad, and I made a trip down memory lane to see it.
She's looking pretty fine with her new vinyl siding and freshly painted gray trim, isn't she?
The leaded glass topper in this picture window was kept on the house when the siding upgrade went in. I'm so glad.
And the wooden door behind this glass storm door is as old as I am. I hope the new owners restore and retain it instead of trading it in for a newer model with no history.
And now for a peek at the back of the house. Notice the "double deck" porches.
The top porch is the sleeping porch where we spent hours and hours playing and sleeping.
Such good times.
