Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Sunday Rerun - Sonic Commercial

.

I get sooooo excited about our bloggy Sunday reruns!!! Thanks so much to Chari over at Happy to Design for hosting Sunday Favorites.

Being an undeniable Blogaddict, I loved this old Sonic commercial. They "get" what we bloggers know, namely that a blog without readers and commenters is null and void.

(photo from a Sonic commercial)

Blogging hit the "big time" - - - it's gotten into a commercial!!!!

The scene: Husband and wife sitting in their car enjoying strawberry cheesecake milkshakes from Sonic. Here's my "rough" translation of what happens next - - -

Husband says: "I think I'll write all about this on my blog so my readers will know to try one."

Wife says: "What readers? The only person who reads your blog is your mom"

Husband replies: "No, I think she told her neighbor"

Wife: "Oh, so now you have TWO readers?"

I LOVE IT!!!!! (No, not the shakes - - - - the fact that blogging is in a commercial)

Next thing you know Twitter will be in a commercial (it probably already is).

We definitely played Kick the Can at night. The can was always under the street light. Is Annie Annie Over the same thing as Red Rover, Red Rover? That other game must have been a Northern Wisconsin thing.

No, Red Rover, Red Rover was a different game. Annie, Annie over was played by throwing a ball over the roof of a small building, like a separate one car garage. If someone on the other side CAUGHT the ball before it hit the ground, they would all come charging around and try to "tag" you before you could run over to their side. If they tagged you, you were on their team.

LOL! That is so funny especially because it is the husband and not the wife who blogs...Christine

We just got Sonic here in southern California. It's about time!!!! I haven't seen that commercial. I'm totally addicted to blogging too. I love Chari's Sunday Favorites. It gives us a chance to get more readers and make more blogging friends. And blogging isn't fun without readers or friends. They validate our existence!!! lol.

I love all of those Sonic commercials. They remind me of myself and my husband. I appreciate the dry humor.

We get Sonic commercials here in NJ, but no Sonic! My kids have had Sonic in Arkansas; loved it.

This is a very funny spot -- I can relate!

Dear friends all: Thanks for coming and commenting on my Sunday Rerun.

I HOPE all of you get to see this particular Sonic Commercial because it is soooooo fitting for those of us who blog, HOWEVER, I saw it back in 2006 and haven't seen it in several years now. Yesterday I TRIED to find it on YouTube to post the video here, but alas and alack I couldn't find it there either.

I guess that's a challenge for someone who loves challenges - - - find the video and post it for the rest of us. I think it would be worth the chuckle!!!!

I have not seen this Sonic commercial, but will most definitely be keeping an eye out for it! I just love coming over to visit you!

I am so far behind with reading and commenting; I apologize. The past week was a bad one for me, nothing particular just a 'blue' week. This widowhood stuff is hard sometimes, I'll tell you!

Loved your Friday Family Foto pics! Somewhere around here I have a few pics of my late hubs with that SAME mustache!!!

What were you then, about a size 5-7? I was a size 7 when I got married...oh Lord, what happened to me?!

As for deciding which blogs to "Follow", it's pretty much just a 'gut instinct' for me. I am so random! UGH!!!!

Loved doing my catch up. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE reading your blog! You are so humorous!

Many hugs.........

Diane
