It's time for another Sunday Rerun hosted by Chari over at "Happy to Design." This time I'm rerunning a post which I first ran on Wednesday, November 15, 2006.
"Blogger Look"
A while back when a friend first found out that I had a blog, she said something to the effect of: "I didn't know you had a blog, somehow I was kinda surprised, you don't look like a blogger."
Which begs the next question - - - - - what DOES a blogger look like?????
Do they have thick, plastic rimmed glasses from staring at a computer screen too long?? Or worse yet, perhaps they have permanent wrinkles etched in their forehead and around their eyes from too much squinting.
Maybe their finger tips are rough and calloused from over use.
Maybe they have blogger's elbow. (I added this sentence for this repost just because)
I think I'm thankful I do not look like a blogger.
However, I HAVE been told on more than one occasion that I DO look like a school teacher, which is infinitely worse!!!!!
But, we won't go there now.

Oh my GRACIOUS -- you look like a SCHOOL TEACHER????? Heaven forbid.
My daughters haven't told me that I LOOK like a blogger, but they say that they and their friends think it is "cute" that I blog.
Kids. Can't live with them, not allowed to kill them.
And I think you are just gorgeous; my teachers looked like Hobbits.

You look like a Kamma with a big heart, one who loves wholeheartedly. You look like a mom who thinks her kids are the greatest (rightly so!)You look like a wife who keeps her hubby on his toes, keeping life interesting. And a wife who has stood proudly by his side for many years. You look like a daughter who loves her daddy. You look like a blooger who lives and loves life! You look like a friend to me.
Sorry, blogger is the right spelling, not bogger or blooger HEHE
Considering I've never met you in person, you absolutely look like a blogger to me!!
When I tell people that I blog I either get -- "Oh, you're one of those!" or "Really? You?"
I always wonder what that means, too LOL
Hummm, now I'd like to know what a blogger looks like. I'm not sure what my family thinks of me blogging...lol..I can't get them to read it. I think they are afraid of what I might have said about them..lol..

I'm curious what one looks like, too. Bring on the stereotypes!
New to your blog! Looking forward to reading more!
This one has me thinking...what does a blogger look like? ME!
Funny post. I guess looking like a school teacher is better than looking like a serial killer. And much better than a serial killer that kills teachers & then blogs about it.
That's too funny. Never thought of what a typical blogger is supposed to look like before.

Hi!
Does a blogger have a certain look, I don't know, but when I tell people I have a blog, the question I response I get is "What's that!" Then I have to explain. Great repost! Have a great day!

Boy, do I understand!!! When my youngest brother, found out that I had a blog he exclaimed loudly "you're one of those Blogger geeks???" Hmmm...he's the same one that told my sister...who is also a teacher, that she "dressed shleglike a school ma'rm"...needless to say she was not happy! LOL
Oh I DO look like a blogger. At least I have a big ol blogger booty. Ugh.
Yes indeed you look like a teacher!
I TOLD YA ONCE BEFORE YOU WERE AN ANGEL TO ME SO YOUR AN ANGEL BLOGGER!
That's funny - that you don't "look" like a blogger. I'm with you - what does that look like?
(forkbrap is my word verification)
We were excited to get your comment. Yes, Jason is the middle son of Charles (Buster) and Deanna. We actually live only minutes from them. Thanks for stopping by. Soon we'll have pictures up of Travis, their youngest son, with us on a trip to New York.
Good to meet you...even if only through the blogging world!
My idea of what a blogger "looks like" has certainly changed since I jumped into the blogging pool a year ago. I thought I would be the only Elder Blogger, but I quickly found out I might actually be in the majority (maybe we have more time?) Anyway, I love it and I love finding cyber friends from all over the place and in all age groups.....I don't have blogging elbow, but the Blogging Butt, now THAT'S a different matter!!
Woo-Hoo it looks like you and Papoo had a fun time with the grands!! We have one (a new addition is expected any day!!) who is three. She also remembers exactly what she did the last time she was over and she knows where things are--even if she's not supposed to! They are amazing little creatures, aren't they?
It's very, very HOT here in KC. Even my gr. dog doesn't want to go outside to do her business. I have to remind her that I'm lots bigger than she is--especially since I'm toting my Blogger's Butt--and I CAN get her outside!
Have a great evening!! Dana
