Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

They're Taking Over Our Town

.

I realize this is one of the more serious posts that I've ever done. If you aren't up to "deep thinking" yet today, I will understand if you just click away to another blog - - -

Invasion of the Alien life-forms (?)!!!

Some photography-skills-challenged person took this photo. (Uh - - - that would be ME)

Very interesting. Is it desperate times take desperate measures?

wow! that's a lot of fast food! at least you dont have KFC they have completely taken over Trinidad and what irks me is that with all the money they make they would not put up one single play park in their stores, or sponsor and refurbish a park so the kids can burn off the calories gained by their greasy foods!!

Thanks for allowing me to rant!!

Yikes!!! I thought you were having a parade or some celebration... well, you could use them as landmarks for giving directions because you can't miss them!

Jeepers! Those are ALL in your town!? For self defense...all you really need is a small knitting needle...

My sister and I joked about these things...in our area a car lot uses a big pink gorilla. My sister said, "Yeah. That's it. A big, pink gorilla is going to intice me to buy a car!" Extremely funny post...needed one today.

...a little pen knife hidden in your hand...

Uh, yeah, I'd say that's pretty ugly. Can't drive by and miss them. Maybe stick a pin in them at night?

LOL ladies!!! You all must think alike - - - you've given me so many choices for a hand held deflater: knitting needle, pen knife, stick pin. Any MORE ideas???

Raxx - - -they aren't ALL fast food. Two are fireworks places.

We've had pink gorillas around here too - - - just not at the moment.

Ahhh...I was just thinking the same thing on a trip down the bypass today!! Joseph gets "freaked out" by these things...the gorilla with the fangs really gets him!! :)

BTW...driving down the bypass is a feat in itself...but snapping photos while you're doing it...whoa!! :)

Thanks for the nice comments on my blog. The picture story made me laugh and is something I can relate to! My middle child has had stitches in his chin four times!

The sad thing about these pathetic blowups is that my children love them. They are gathered around the computer as I type trying to get me to stop typing so they can "see"!

That was hilarious!!! Thanks for the laugh! Really scary how many of those that you were able to find in just the area that you live......

I'd like to dive into a frosty about now LOL It's always so funny to see these things popping up - my favorite was this giant jeep a local car dealership brings out every so often.

The visual pollution is horrifying-from political ads to billboards, I OBJECT! They only cause me to revolt against whatever product or person they portray, it's called negative advertising, lol!

Uhm...I think I enjoy your cousins Art Work much more than these blown up exhibits...LOL Your cousin is doing an amazing work...Thank God for her! Thank you for sharing this!

My husband's personal favorite is the stick-man inflatable guy that bends and waves and twists ... have you seen that one? LOL.

Keetha...you must've been out and about along the bypass last night...two of these are now GONE!! But fear not...I noticed they were replaced with two more: Uncle Sam pushing fireworks and a hot air balloon for at&t! Sorry I couldn't take pics...too dangerous with a van full of kiddos! :D

I took the photos a few days before I posted them. The TNT one is about a half blog off the by-pass by that little "fruit market" place near where Western and Baldwin make that funky little triangle.

I'm gonna hafta go LOOK for your new finds - - - make an addendum to my post.

I pull off into a parking lot before I snap the pix.

I will definitely lock up my children!

You have inflatable alien life forms. Next time you are in Wisconsin, note all the permanent usually plastic huge forms. Love your post.
