Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Blogger is Making Me Want to Chew Iron and Spit Nails!!!

.

Blogger is doing it's own thing with my fonts.

I do NOT want my fonts to be a plethora of sizes.

I do NOT want my font to be big enough to be read at 1,000 feet without your glasses.

But no MATTER what font size I set on blogger, they turn out however blogger feels so inclined.

It is driving my OCDness crazy.

Thanks for reading anyway.

No, my font sizes are intentional. It is operator error and inexperience with the program. I know this is not your problem...I hope you can fix it, so you'll have piece of mind. Your blog is very nice.

I never know what my font is going to do either.

My frustration is I DO KNOW HOW to use the blogger program, it just isn't doing what I tell it to do!!! I think it's got a mind of it's own.

Hmmm... why such blogger troubles for poor Keetha?

Clearly it is because your blog is HAUNTED. My ghosts have texted your ghosts, and they've decided to mess with your stuff. They are such charming little cut-ups.

Which might explain the blood pouring from your veins instead of nostalgia.

Your family reunion looks like a blast! Never knew Quakers partied quite so hearty.... :-)

(My sister's comment on camping: "Why do people go out in the woods and pretend they are homeless?")

How long will it take you to shampoo the Eau de Campfire scent out of your hair?

Have a good time!
Cass

I'm so happy you all had a campfire - camping just isn't camping without the smell of a fire pit in everything that you own. LOL

Love the nighttime lights - and the neon on the ground, too - Clever!!

One thing you might try with your font sizing (provided you have already gone to settings and tried to change "text size" there) is to hit the enter key a couple of times after a picture to disassociate the text from the image. After all your typing is done you can backspace out the extra blank lines

Sorry about your problem. For me, the bigger, the better. You will work it out. Stay calm.

The spot on your blog where you change colors and fonts? Mine is STUCK. I can't change anything. So I have had to learn how to EDIT CODE to change colors and sizes permanently on my blog. And I am a bit of a stickler when it comes to colors matching.

Sorry Blogger is driving you bonker!

Keetha Broyles said...

Well, I don't WANT to learn to edit code. Here's the deal - - - I'm not sure the problem is the CODE, because it all looks GREAT in the creation box, it only looks WRONG when I publish. AND FURTHERMORE - - - it is WORSE on the rerun posts, which looked FINE to start with, and all I do to repost them is copy and paste the html from one to the other - - - so it SHOULD look identical.

GRRRRRRRRRRR

Oh trust me, I HATE how that last Sunday Rerun post looked - - - at least two different font sizes and BOTH of them LARGER than I intended.

I can so relate when I use blogger to compose.

My husband loaded Windows Live Writer for me and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! You can compose a post, add/subtract pictures, and even crop etc, right there in Live Writer. And it doesn't even mess up your type or font!! You see it just as it is going to appear on your blog. No need to toggle back and forth between windows or guess what it will look like.

Not all operating systems support it. But it's SOOOOO worth looking into. Can't recommend it enough. :)It has made posting so much less of a head ache for me.
