Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

It's Official - - -

.
With Father's Day fast approaching, it's time to make this most important announcement:

Diva Dad - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Loser-Dork Dad

At the beginning of the month, I ran a contest between Diva Dad and Loser-Dork Dad.

After 238 votes and 69 comments, it's now official. Diva Dad won 208 - 30.

And just what title did Diva Dad win????

He is crowned The Most Unconscious Father of the Year.

As many of my readers pointed out, it's very fortunate that he won considering he already has the crown!!!

That's SO EXCITING!!

Even more exciting is the evil idea it gives me...

Mulletman is a champion napper - and he'll be REALLY tired on Father's day seeing as we'll have just finished riding 180 miles on bicycles.

Must have camera ready...

(We're assuming her that I'll still be alive...)

I keep meaning to ask you, I think you mentioned you had done several progressive dinners, right? (if it wasn't you, please excuse me! two little ones sometimes make me mix things up!)
Anyways, if it was you, I was wondering if you have any unique ideas for them? I have done a couple of them for the young people in the past, and am planning one for them in August. I wanted to do something a bit different, but am not sure what.
I was thinking of making each homes food be themed around a different country, but I am still looking for ideas :)
Thanks!

I thought this was just so funny. Can't remember if I said last time but, we have sleeping men all over the place after big feasts. We all have multiple pictures of them with one or the other of us women smiling broadly behind or next to them. I don't know why we think this is so funny, but we do.

Well you started my day with a snort! I missed the contest and the vote (whew! Would have been a tough decision).

He may have a crown but does he have the sash?

So true, he does have the crown AND the boa! That was fun and a fun idea.

Thanks, Keeth, I am loving having the grandchildren. They are staying a whole month....the longest they've ever stayed and I'm just thrilled! Tired but thrilled! Maybe they'll get me swimming and I'll lose a few lbs.

OMG too funny!
Sounds/looks as if your camping/family reuinion trip was a blast-no shortage of vittles!
Actually, I dislike both the packing & unpacking-dreading Thursday, have to pack for Colorado.
PS, baby is too young to know I am using his photo so shamelessly!
