Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Just Lettin' It All Hang Out - - -

.

I'm sure it is getting boring that all I can post about on my blog is my moving process. Trust me - - - it's not real interesting for me either!

But, it is CONSUMING my time, and therefore my thoughts.

Hopefully, this will be my LAST moving post - - - things are shaping up around here and maybe, just maybe, my mind can move on to other pursuits next week.

Welcome to our home. Come on in and make yourself comfortable!

This is the first time I've ever had this "open" of a floor plan with a love seat and end table in the middle of the floor. Makes for "decorating both sides" issues!

This little table was in our entry hall in Marion, but I think it does quite nicely on the back side (dining room side) of the love seat.

Living room side of the end table.

Dining room side of the same end table.

Those cute little "dogs" were our baby's slippers. He can't even get his big toe in them now, but I keep hanging onto them anyway.

School desk with family pictures.

Normally our entertainment center will NOT be wearing skis - - - but until Dish TV gets installed tomorrow, they are a necessary evil.

There is a whole blog post story about the Dish installation - - - maybe one day - - -

Above and below are dining room vignettes.

Computer room book shelf.

Antique bottles above the laundry room cabinet.

Folks - - - we have a kitchen!

Complete with a new microwave - - - the one in Marion was built in above the stove. For some strange reason, the renters balked at the idea of a gaping hole there if I TOOK that microwave with me.

Picky, picky, picky!

Peg shelf above the antique church pew.

Sportin' antique bottles, canning jar, and Fiesta cups.

And now, just because they are neat, tidy, and organized I will bare all - - - don't EVER expect me to do THIS again!

Thanks for coming on my tour!

Keetha honey you have worked your little fingers to the bone. This looks amazing in just a few days! WOW is all I can say. Looks great and you hopefully will be happy in your duplex until the next move (did I just say that? bad Linda).

Wow - looks good, and I even spotted some empty cupboard shelves!! But would you please sit down and tell me what football games we need to catch tomorrow! (Big pic won't make the blog because it's off-center, right?)

Dang girl! from Tuesday to Friday, you sure got a lot done! Heck, you even have things hung on walls!!! It looks like you have made it a home and in a very short time. Congrats on the big move. God stirs up our lives for a reason and I am glad that you have settled into a new chapter of your lives ♥

Having moved a few times ourselves, I know how much work it is. You got everything together very quick and it looks very cozy and inviting.

BTW, do you have a floor outlet under the loveseat? Also, for the size of the duplex, your kitchen is loaded with cabinets!

Keetha, it looks great! I know you are ready to do some relaxing. One thing about decorating...it should always be done in the style that suits you and your family...otherwise, no matter how nice it looks...it won't feel right. Enjoy, now!

I am enjoying the moving/moving in posts. I've actually read them a few times in my Google Reader, but haven't actually made it over here to comment.

Putting everything away in the cupboard the first time is always so nice - everything is so neat. I can understand why you won't to revisit the cupboard in a few months, it's never quite as organized lol
