Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

We're Doing THIS Again - - -

.

Homecoming Week Day Three - Canceled for snow!!!

This is the scene that greeted me this morning.

Photos aren't good at showing depth - - -
But, there is a ROAD in the foreground of this picture.
Can you find it?
Me either.

The Juncos LOVED it.
No wonder they are nicknamed "snow birds."

On a day like today,
I'm very glad I don't live here

Or here.
Brrrrrrrrrrrr!!

The blur in this picture is not caused
By faulty focusing on my part,
But rather by snow flying between my camera lens
And these trees.

For now the snow has stopped falling
And the late afternoon sun has come out.

All's at peace in our
Little corner of the world.

I'm so happy we actually got some snow! Korie said she has 11 inches!!!

Indy started getting it yesterday during the day, so they are ahead of us. I think we have 6 - 8 inches or so here. That's new snow on top of what we still had left from two weeks ago.

Remember how we loved snow days as students? How do you like them as a teacher? The snow is beautiful -- I admire it from afar.

Fresh fallen snow undisturbed by wind -- so beautiful! We have a beautiful white winter wonderland outside but ours is mostly sleet -- deep, with ice underneath the sleet.
Makes tiny-winy snowmen :)

What do you like to do on days like this?

I wanted to tell you that I saw that "Nancy from AZ" had commented on your blog. So I went to visit her blog and saw that she was from WI... so I was really intrigued! Well, as I was reading through her blog I saw pictures of her daughter and son-in-law... and I know them!! SUCH A SMALL WORLD!
Yes, my son is friends with David and I work with his Mom at the church my husband is the pastor of!!
How fun is this blogging community!

So beautiful! Thanks for sharing it with us.

We are not having winter at all. Should be in the 80's again by the weekend. I'm not happy about that, and regardless of what all of you might think, it isn't good. Our fire danger should be through the roof by March.
