School's canceled today for snow and below zero weather - - - minus six at the moment.
Makes me feel like a real wimp when I remember we used to play out at recess in the Northwoods until minus twenty. But you know, that was back in the day when people walked barefoot through the snow uphill both ways to get anywhere.
So here I sit at home wondering what to do with my gift of time. Maybe I'll:
*Take a nap
*Pay bills
*Take a nap
*UnChristmasize
*Take a nap
*Cook
*Take a nap
*Clean
*Take a nap
*Do Laundry
*Take a nap
*Blog
*Take a nap.

I say your best choice - TAKE A NAP!!! I wish I could! :)
Honey, enjoy your day off, and sleep in peace! Wish you were here, I have warm chocolate cookies with reese's pieces in them that I would love to feed you!
ooooooooo Amy - - - those sound fabulous!!!
That sounds like a good plan. We still have school here even though it is FREEZING!!! My car thermo. read -6 as I drove Dylan to the bus stop. They are saying most schools will probably close tomorrow.
When school is canceled, you should ALWAYS take a nap!
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Shannie!!!! I DID. Now, should I take another?????
Hehehehehehehehehehe
I am also working on a little blog fodder.
Take a nap is my pick!!
I did occasionally run outside in the snow, barefoot, to use our outhouse. Once I went outside to swing during recess. It was 52 below. The rest of the kids in our one room school had more sense, I guess.
It's interesting.. IWU doesn't cancel.. but we walk all over the place!!
There're making you "tough"
Yeaa... THAT'S IT!
Here's the hope for you - - - it's supposed to warm back up into the 20's next week. By then you'll be so tough it will feel like 50!!!
whoops...If I would have scrolled down before posting a comment on your previous post I would have known you had a snow day. Sorry!
Love the take a nap list. Was it a two hour nap? I tend to think naps aren't worth it unless you can settle down for a loooong winter slumber. (I wish my kids would agree!)
With my kids grown and gone, I take as long of naps as I want to!!! There are empty nest advantages.
