Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

AKA "Wherein Keetha Rambles About Pretty Much Nothing"

The "Doctor" is in.
Getting home from work.

And Downy
Share our suet block.

I really did try
To capture the view from my classroom window.
I loved the sun/shadow on the snow.

The picture doesn't do it justice.

Closing in on

A very naked deciduous.

Might be a tad chilly sitting on those bleachers these days!

Today's JOY:
House back to it's normal
UnChristmasized condition.

Keetha Broyles said...

They've never been up until April - - - they have been in a pile until April, but never still up.

But yes, they are down and put away by January 20.

I did just get my Christmas flowers put away yesterday....I was so used to seeing them on my dining table that I forgot! They were so pretty :(

I am a hypochondriac so your husband would hate me. :)

i love those elephants! granddad collected elephants on his missions trips, and i have continued the tradition!

Jewel, one of your LCS classmate's dad is Greg's #1 fishing buddy - - - I think you probably know which one - - - anyway, he brought the two BIG elephants to us from Africa a couple of summers ago when they went. I brought MYSELF the little elephant from MY own trip to Africa in 1972.

Keetha Broyles said...

Oh - - - maybe you can't SEE the little elephant, if you look CAREFULLY around the "J" of the joy - - - you will see his little trunk.

I love the birds! We have some tiny finches in our backyard. I think it's neat that the elephants are from Africa! I love things that have a story with them...not just bought around the corner...or at Wal-Mart! :-)

Even your random posts are so interesting. I'm catching up on your posts, as I've been away for a few days. Nothing fun though. I unexpectedly spent Friday to Sunday renting a room in a fine establishment where people have very similar fashion tastes as Greg in your first picture.

Oh dear!!! What happened??? Will you be posting about it on your blog???

Just want to say again, thanks for Chapel today!! I couldn't of found anyone better to say what you said! It was a blessing to us. I told your dad at church tonight what a great job you did. I told him about Stan asking me if you were a PK and I said she sure is....Stan said I thought so by the way she preached today. He was surprised you didn't offer an invitation! Ha...thanks again....you are the best.....we are so blessed to have you!!!!

Keetha Broyles said...

Hehehehehe - - - ahead of time I DID think about giving an invitation, but at the time I was closing I didn't feel led in that direction.

Thanks for asking me, and having such confidence in me!

SO pretty. It's in the mid 60s today, although temps should fall "all the way" back to the 40s by Sunday. :-)

Well girls,we hit 37 today, so that snow is melting away - - - but we are still mostly covered in white. It's supposed to get cold for a few days again this weekend.
