Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

A Bit O' Dis 'N Dat

.

Remember the continuing saga of my SS boys? If you have no idea what I'm talking about then you need to look here, here, and here before reading any farther.

Dis is two of dem all dressed up
Sunday in dare Prom duds.

Dey lookin' good, don't'cha think?

A little while ago - - -

It was doin' a liddle o' dis outside.

My question - - - What is dat?
Is dat teeny tiny hail or honkin' big sleet?

Uh-Oh- - - it's doin' dat again!!!

Friday was a three dog day.
(I can only see two in this picture,
But I swear dare were three)
Hmmmm - - - dat's not as funny
In dis photo as it was din.
Too bad.

Are you kiddin' me???
ARE YOU KIDDIN' ME!?!?
Dey can't spell worth nuttin'.
Don't dey have spell check in Warshin'-ton????

And Dis from our "Natinal" Capitol????

Only lifting will.

Whatever is going on in Washingtown?

Keetha Broyles said...

I don't know, Dr. LB - - - but something that doesn't include consulting Webster's or even Google.

How many people do you suppose were involved in the production of those new jerseys BEFORE they got onto the players in a public game???????????

Incredible.

Those uniforms are incredible. I'm sure there's an "o" lurking somewhere, but wouldn't you think a professional uniform company would know that it couldn't be behind the flap.

Keetha Broyles said...

No KBeau - - - there simply is no "O" on them - - - behind the flap or anywhere. It is totally a spelling blooper. Totally.

Dem boyz look pretty spiffy!

Is that, I dunno, slail?

Are those uniforms for real?

Keetha Broyles said...

LOL Damselfly - - - dat's funny!!!

Slail - - - good one.

Yep, dem unis are for real and for certain. Can you believe it????

Dem look great. Oh to be young again.

Got lonely and came by. I'll bet the "o" is under the button flap.

Sorry I'm so busy. Maybe a new post soon.

I can't find my blog said...

I saw the uniforms on the news the other night. Cracked me up!

Wow.
You probably do say Warshington don't you? ;D

Those boys look pretty good, all spiffed up. Thanks for the links back - I hadn't read about those antics before. Love the yellow hardhat!

I'm so happy we didn't get any of that hail/sleet stuff.

I wasn't sure why you were taking a picture of dog rear ends LOL

And I'm thinking that the "O" is missing. It's all about the O. hahaha I'm cracking myself up.

Keetha Broyles said...

Nope girls, I PROMISE - - - there is no "o" on those uniforms, not even under the flap. It was a colossal error. (Baseball - - - error- - - get it!?!)

Har har, Jewel.

The dogs WERE looking at me - - - all three of them - - - until I got ready to snap the picture and they turned the other way to see their owner who was returning.

That is a book, Keetha. And it appears to be readily available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Leigh of Tales from Bloggeritaville said...

was that really misspelled? If so.....whoa!
And the boys for prom, cute.

HEY KEETHA,
I AM GLAD YOU GOT A GOOD LAUGH AT MY HUBBY DOING THE PRE-TIES FOR OUR SON'S BUSINESS TRIP. RICH IS LEFT HANDED SO I DO NOT KNOW IF THAT IS THE BLOCK IN LEARNING HOW TO TIE HIS OWN TIE OR IF IT IS A COMFORT THING HE GETS FROM THAT BOND WITH HIS DAD....HIS WIFE IS ALSO LEFT HANDED AND THEY CANNOT HANG A SHELF ON THE WALL......THEY ARE BOTH BRAINS THOUGH.....
THOSE SS BOYS DRESSED UP FOR THE PROM LOOKED MIGHTY SPIFFY BUT IT DID NOT TAKE THAT LOOK OF MISCHIEF OUT OF THEIR EYES........I DID NOT LIKE THE TRASH CAN JOKE AS I TRULY THINK IT WOULD HAVE HURT YOU AND THEY WOULD NEVER HAD WANTED THAT BUT NEED TO LEARN WHEN ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.......BLESS YOU FOR YOUR WORK IN CHURCH....CHURCH WORKERS ARE HARD TO FIND.
BLESSINGS
HUGS

Hi from a fellow Hoosier! Found you on Big Mama's hilarious blog!

Can't BELIEVE the uniform mistake! How in the world did someone NOT CATCH that?!

Anyway...no hail today and warm weather coming our way (I live in Henry County).

Glad I found your blog...

Hello my friend...

Ohhh my...I did enjoy reading all of the stories about those dear sweet Sr. SS boys...heheheheeeee! Oh, that wasn't a laugh...REALLY! I don't think they're a bit funny either!!! Hehehehahhhaaaa! Really I didn't laugh!!!

Girl, I'm sitting here with my morning coffee...what a great way to wake up and start the day! It reminded me of all the summer youth Bible camps that I always sponsored and chaperoned. Ohhh my goodness, never-ever...a dull moment! I really don't understand why people think that you can't serve the Lord and have fun too! Hmmm...

Anyway, I just read your sweet note over on my gallery wall post. Thank you so much for your suggestions! My friend, I always have so much trouble doing these wall groupings...I'm "asymmetrically challenged"! Hehe! I try and try to think out-of-the-box in these situations and it just unnerves me! Hehe..it's so sad but so true! It's probably my downfall when it comes to design and decorating...I really like for everything to be symmetrical and balanced! Hehe!

My friend...what is up with those uniforms??? I'm afraid it's indicative of the times in which we live. I have preached and preached to my step-children (who are not the best spellers) the importance of correct spelling! When I have worked supervisory positions and was in charge of hiring...I almost always dismissed an application if it had spelling errors!

Okay...getting off of my "soap-box" now! Hehe! Hope that you're having a terrific week, my friend! Thanks so much for coming by and I'll put some thought to your suggestions!

Warmest wishes,
Chari
