Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

"Old School" Girls, Football Mania, and Bunny Ears

Just look what I found in my desk drawer today:

Yep, that's me (on the right) with my Long Lost Twin, Kathy, back-in-the-day.

Can't remember WHO took this picture, nor how I got it. BUT, whoever it was, HOW IN THE WORLD did they catch BOTH of us with equally zombified looks on our faces?

Guess I shouldn't be TOO surprised, Kathy and I frequently, without consulting each other, turned up at events in similar outfits and to this day we both suffer with really random, though no less painful, ailments!!!! Thus the twin part.

On to more randomness- - - -

Today at lunch, one of my sixth grade boys had a FOOTBALL lunch box. No, I do NOT mean it had football icons on it - - - - it was a FOOTBALL my friends!!! I took ONE LOOK at that lunch box and knew I HAD to have one.

So, I made a trip to Wally World after school.

All they had were soccer ball lunch boxes. Bummer - - - not even CLOSE.

So I had to settle for this generic red lunch box in honor of my beloved WI Badgers and a Colts lanyard. Not the same as a FOOTBALL lunch box, but I'll try to survive anyway.

And now here she is - - - Miss Bunny Ears herself:

My sister Pam showed up at our parents' house with this very flattering bunny look one day.

That's been a couple of weeks ago, so I'm sure she thought I had forgotten all about posting the picture here.

She thought wrong.

Who is Kathy? She seems familiar for some reason...

PS -- I hope you weren't truly injured by my mouth at faculty meeting. If so, I am very, very sorry.

SOCCER lunch boxes!! Oh, I´ll have to tell Gerson! I know that´s a disappointment for YOU, but he´ll think it´s awesome!!!!!!!!

Deven: That is Kathy Troyer. She also blogs and comes to mine rather frequently - - - perhaps you've seen her on here? Her link in my sidebar is under "Infrequent" and she is Long Lost Twin.

Me??? Have my feelings hurt in faculty meeting by something you said? Must not have - - - I don't even remember what you're talking about!!!! (Yikes, am I old or what?)

Betsy: I'll try to go back into Wally World and pick up one of those soccer ball lunch boxes for Gerson. Shhhhhhh don't tell, it will be a surprise for him when you come home.

Oh, go ahead and show him the link I sent you - - - make him REALLY wish he had one - - - then it will be a GREAT surprise when he gets it.

LOVE Pam's bunny look!!! Would that work for eliminating a double-double chin???? I could handle that look for a year if it would work!!!!

Oooh, Keetha - you are very cruel - ha! I have no idea who took that picture either. That shirt was one of my favorites - what was I thinking???

I found more pictures going through the boxes of photos --- they may show up --- beware!!!

I'll bet that look came from looking at the kids on the first day of school and thinking, now why did I want to be a teacher??

LOL - - - at THAT time I wasn't teaching. I was a SAM with four children. HOWEVER, that picture WAS taken at Teen Camp where I was head counselor for years and years. We had our hands full with more than 400 campers those weeks. The look may have been from that.
