Welcome to Keetha's place. Come on in, kick off your shoes, and sip a latté. His grace is new each morning. (Late Summer Wisconsin Sunset - photo by Keetha)

The Big Dance. My favorite sports time of the year. Although the Razorbacks didn't make it this year, I'll still be watching. My oldest son was in Charlotte in 1994 when the Hogs won it all.
Well, KBeau, my Badgers did get in, but they have to play FSU first. FSU beat us in our FB Bowl game in January - - - I'm afraid this will give them a second victory over us in the same year in two different sports. :-(
KEETHA,
LOVE...LOVE....YOUR MARCH 9TH POST....THAT IS WHERE MY HAIR IS NOW....WAH...WAH
WE ARE HAVING THE BIG TWELVE CONFERENCE HERE.......
AT LEAST OKLAHOMA STATE BEAT OKLAHOMA UNIVERSITY....BUT THEN MISSOURI BEAT US........I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS WHAT YOU WERE REFERRING TO BUT THE GAMES BEGAN HERE LAST WEEK..........
BLESSINGS
debbie
bt the way....I had a dear friend named Keetha
Debbie, yes, the Conference Tourneys were this past week/weekend. Now the NCAA tourney (That's the Big Dance) begins with the first play-in game on Tuesday night.
You had a friend named Keetha??? Do tell - - - there aren't that many of us (Keetha's) you know.
DEAR KEETHA,
I KNOW....THAT'S WHY I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN I SAW YOUR NAME....THERE ARE DEBBIE'S ALL OVER THE PLACE BUT NOT KEETHA'S. YOU ARE ONLY THE SECOND I HEARD OF. I WENT TO SCHOOL IN OKLAHOMA ALL MY LIFE....I HAVE LIVED IN OKLAHOMA ALL MY LIFE.
15 YEARS AGO WE LIVED IN BROKEN ARROW, OKLAHOMA....JUST ON THE OUTER EDGE OF TULSA....ACTUALLY ANY MORE THERE HAS BEEN SO MUCH BUILDING YOU CAN'T TELL WHEN YOU DRIVE FROM ONE TO THE OTHER.
NOW I LIVE ABOUT 100 MILES OUT OF OKC.
FOR GIRLS BASKETBALL I LOVE TO WATCH OKLAHOMA UNIVERSITY BUT THE SISTERS ARE GRADUATING THIS YEAR AND OUR OSU GIRLS COACH IS GOING TO SEND THEM FLOWERS....LOL......I LOVE TO WATCH TENNESSEE GIRLS AND OLE MISS.
I GREW UP SPORTS...MARRIED SPORTS AND MY SON IS A SPORTS NUT ALTHOUGH THE ONLY SPORTS HE PLAYED WAS SOCCER AND THAT IS PRETTY DEMANDING....HE PLAYED 5 YEARS OLD UNTIL 19 YEARS FALL AND SPRING.
IT IS SO NICE TO MEET YOU.
BLESSINGS
debbie
Debbie,
Well, that's sad that I'm not "your" Keetha nor you "my" Debbie!!! BUT we can start a new bloggy friendship as of now!!!
I love sports too - - - WATCHING them, not playing. I'm really CRAZY over football. Your Sooners have this year's Heisman - - - Sam Bradford!!! Way to go.
I notice you started "following" my blog. I'll do my best to NOT lead you astray! ;-) Hehehehehehe
Ok, I honestly had no idea what you were talking about. I had to opent the comments to figure it out. Are you talking basketball here?
NCAA tourney - - - YOU BET!!!
Now, I'm not as BB crazy as FB, but in MARCH I do love the NCAA tourney.
I didn't get it, either. I thought you were going to give some info on rhythmic gymnastic performances. Which, by the way, are a part of the Olympics, but which we rarely get to see because it is not televised much. It is so fun to watch, too.
So...I am a little disappointed...BUT glad you are happy about the basketball. Hope your teams do well!
I can not wait till the games begin this week.
For my 55th b-day, Phil bought tix to the midwest regional finals in Indy March 27-29. So excited.
Boilers!
Yee ha!!! I can't wait. I do love me some basketball. :-)
Thanks for your comment on my Limoges plates. I am going to keep them as-is...They're just too perfect (in their own shabby old way!).
Kathy - - - I THOUGHT about you as I watched/listened to the Boilers win the Big Ten Tourney!!!
Laura, thank you for making a return visit here!!
While I was inside on Saturday working in the kitchen Sep & Tucker (our oldest) were outside and Toby (our youngestm who had the stomach flu) was inside with Mommy...he went to the living room to get a truck.
After it had been a bit longer than the time required to pick out that perfect truck and silence was settling I went in to see what he was up to and make sure he was ok...
He had pulled his mini recliner in front of the TV and was watching hte NCAA tourney all in his peace and quiet. What a sweet boy...
LOL - - - but ACTUALLY, that wasn't yet the NCAA tourney, it was a conference tourney - - - perhaps the Big Ten??? '
I would have LOVED to see that. Thanks for telling the story!
I could talk college football with you all day. Sadly I have two left feet when talking about the Big Dance.
Jennifer - - - I am MUCH more of a college FB fan myself. NEXT FALL baby!!!
Yes you are right...it was on prior to Michigan waiting to hear if they were 'IN'...my stomach flued mind got ahead of me!
Only one more sleep till the madness begins!!!
I hope your Badgers win on Sunday! Should be a great game!
