Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

No, No - - - You Can't Have It!

.
I am not speaking of my Christmas tree, which I finished decorating, BTW - - - you could certainly have that. Nor am I speaking of the little houses or the stocking, though I am very sentimental about my little houses and probably would only LOAN them to you.

No, what I am speaking of is my giant, life size "hubby -on -the -couch -wrapped -in -Gators -blankie -holding -Gators -hat -on -lap" Christmas ornament. That you definitely cannot have!!! I've been working on THAT for over 33 years and I JUST ABOUT have it the way I want it by now, so you'll just have to get your own.

;-)

Your tree is fantastic! I was going to say beautiful and that was already mentioned, then I thought of gorgeous and that was also taken, so FANTASTIC it is! Good thing I commented fourth, I may have ran out of adjectives :)

That's Great Keetha, you now have about 8 days to enjoy it! HA HA HA... Looks nice. "Hi" to the couch ornament.

Au Contraire, Danman - - - I know have 38 days to enjoy it - - - at least. Remember, I don't undecorate until oh, about February.

Oh, trust me...I don't want your life size hubby ornament. I've got one of those myself but it's a different style. Mines the "hubby sitting on couch with a zombie expression while doing who-know-what? on the laptop on his lap".

BTW, your tree is lovely. I like the ribbon streamers better that the bows.

I love the tree, it's a May Day Christmas tree! You know the pretty ribbons that float in the air on May Day that wrap around the pole?! You are one funny lady, I love your hubby description! We have only been married 16 years, so mine is still being paper-trained!

Pretty tree! And hubby ornament - that was funny!

Thanks for all the fun comment girls!!!

Amy - - - you are cracking me up with the paper training comment. I won't go there with men and their potty habits. :-)

Your house looks beautiful - I just love the staircase! I won't try to take your hubby on the couch! I've been working on one of those for 27 years!
PS - thanks for stopping at my blog. When I looked at your profile I realized that we like the same music and the same movies!

I would have missed him if you hadn't pointed him out. Lovely decorations - I don't think I've seen your living room from this angle - the camera's always been pointed at the people on the couch, around the table, etc.

I'm sitting here in Upland, IN touring the homes and found your home in Marion! Hello neighbor! Thanks for sharing your home. This is a great tour!

Your home looks so warm and inviting!! And your husband must be exhausted from all that decorating, that he needed to take a nap on the couch!!!???!

Thanks for visiting my blog!
Have a Merry Christmas!!

The ribbons on the tree look great, and your house looks cozy warm with the fire goin and the hubby on the couch.

Keetha Broyles said...

Thanks Linda!!! Hubby's at work today, and the chill factor is subzero outside. I think I need to start that fire again to feel cozy and warm while I watch the first NCAA bowl game!!!

Boy, it does take a long time to get them how we want them, doesn't it? :))

Keetha Broyles said...

I'm afraid it's nearly impossible - - - what is MORE likely to happen is we get used to them. Hehehehehehe
