Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Fragments on Friday Eve

.
It's Friday Eve which is the best time to pull together some fragments to make a post!!!

Fragmento Uno

Today is "Happy Birthday Sister Pam" Day.

You may not think the above photo is MUCH of a birthday present - - - and come to think of it, she may not either - - - but I do have method to my madness.

Sister Pam - - - does this take you on a birthday hike down nostalgia lane?????

Fragmento Dos

This is the HOTTEST cold spot in town.

Of course, it's been 80 - unheard of here in March -
So it may not seem so eye brow raising at first glance - - -

Until I show you that LAST YEAR in March
When we had mountains of snow piled all around,
It was STILL the HOTTEST cold spot in town!

This town loves it some outdoor DQ.

There's nary a night it isn't jumpin' and hoppin'!!

Fragmento Tres

When our high temps had been in the 80's for over a week,
I finally went out and brought in this last remnant of Yule Tide.

Poor thing was rather weather beaten.

Fragmento Cuatro

The other day I was greeted by this red sky at morn.

I was HOPING the sailor's 'round here were fore warned.

But alack and alas, it didn't rain until days later.

Fragmento Cinco

There won't be any more toilet plunging 'round here!

(Ok, all you literal folks, this is a JOKE)

Fragmento Seis

We've got a new project going on in the Shepherd's Loft.

We've been collecting change to purchase goats
Through Samaritan's Purse for African Villagers.

We name our goats.

We're beginning to have quite a herd.

Or is it a flock??

A pod??

How about a covey???

Google addendum:
A group of goats is a herd, a tribe, or a trip!

I think I'd like to call them a trip, wouldn't you?

Fragmento Finito

Mommy's Idea

Head on over to Mrs. 4444's place
And check out all the other Friday Fragments.

I liked the fragmentos. Todos! The DQ in your town looks like a hot place, for sure. Glad you name the goats, too. No one wants anonymous goat giving, do we?

We don't have dairy queen here. How sad for us.

Happy Birthday to Sister Pam, I hope she enjoyed her walk down memory:) Fun Fragmentos! Have a blessed day!

Wish I were as witty as you! I adore your sense of humor! Thanks for kind words on my Cajun Mango Fish Tacos!! Now back to this post, you'll have to post pics from a year ago with the snow and all. This weather is crazy, I can't imagine what this Summer is going to be like :( I love the naming of the goats :) Have a great weekend!

Wow I can't get over the contrast in the weather in those 2 shots! Here in the Uk we are having beautiful sunny weather, it's wonderful, and the weekend should be good too!

Well, happy birthday to Pam, who is getting to feel like an old friend, even though we've never met.

Wow, your goat herd is really growing! What a wonderful thing!

I love the DQ, too. I loved it a little more often before Wt Watchers, but my car still knows the way.

And last but not least, I'm glad we're getting some rain.

Outdoor DQ on one of the first warm days of spring. A great feeling all around.

First off, love the 'uno dos tres quatro....' part of your fragments. Unique. And fun [ya, I was considered a cheap date 'cause the small things I enjoy...LOL]

Anyway, the cold here is Yogurt. But I could take a DQ anytime. It's been as high as 87 here in March and as low as 48...so, guess it's a whole new concept on "March Madness"

My Friday post is: THE 'F' WORDS

HEY! You could also buy chickens from Forgotten Children! Traitor. :) Hahahaha JUST KIDDING (about the traitor thing...you really could buy chickens, mosquito nets, heifers, from FCW.)

We have a DQ here in TinyTown, and though we ourselves almost never go there (I think we've been there once in the 8 months we've lived here) it is always busy.

I eat my ice cream under a down quilt :)

You know, that's an Iowa joke too. We love ice cream and weirdly crave it in the winter months.

I love the project at Shepherd's Loft, how wonderful is that??!! I have no idea what a group of goats are...mean if they are males ;-) Got my first head-butt from one.

Happy birthday to your sis. I love that early morning shot.

Thanks to all for the happy birthday wishes! I'm sure that the window seat is in Shadowlawn - still get the urge to curl up in it with a book, BUT I don't remember the honking big cookstove being in the vicinity

Happy Birthday to your sister! Sweet of you to take her down memory lane!

We had a DQ years ago and boy did I love a Peanut Buster parfait! Then we didn't have one for years and now we have one again......only I can't afford weight wise to eat a parfait anymore! :(

Yes. "Trip" is good. I'm glad your trip is multiplying. Your 80 matches ours. So strange this weather, but wonderful too.

Have a good weekend!

Winter seems to be messing with everyone! And yes, I like calling the goats a trip. Hubs' grandmother raised goats until she passed away at the age of 103. She said that if you sit down, you get rusty. Guess the goats had her up and about a lot!

Happy Birthday to your sister! Love the DQ ! We have had the same unseasonable weather and the lines at the IC store have been out the door! I love this weather! The idea of something as simple as giving a goat and what that gift provides a family is pretty amazing. I posted many months ago about another blogger in Africa needing chickens....eggs go a long way in 3rd world countries..it's the little thing we take for granted. Great FF today! Have a wonderful weekend!

I want a window seat just like that one with a blue cook stove! My grandparents started married life with one of those.

Love the basket of eggs. Dairy Queen is the best! Had to laugh at the warning for the sailor's :)

that is so cool that you have that herd of goats!! I love that!
