Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Thermostat Thoughts

Looks OK, or does it???

Can you see the problem? Do you see how DEAD it looks?

Yah - - - well - - - - Here's why:

Funny thing, the heat/central air doesn't work too well under these conditions.

I believe it's called "burn out."

Something inside me must look kinda like this.

I think I must have "burn out."

This isn't just the normal "end-of-the-school-year" variety. I'm not really feeling that one much. I've enjoyed my students a lot this year, and I guarded the time I put into the "extra stuff" so I have more energy for teaching than I usually do at this time of the year.

No - - - this is "burn out" of the "our-school-is-hurting" variety. We are all hurting. Students. Parents. Teachers. Administration. All of us. I'm not sure where to go from here. Not sure where to turn.

Something must change. I hate change, but something must change or my soul is going to look WORSE than a black, burned out thermostat. Unlike a thermostat, the me inside of me isn't that easily replaced.

I'm contemplating what change to make - - -

Move back to Bluffton and spend your days with ME and MY KIDS!! :) :) Wouldn't that be fun?!?!

It would be FUN, much FUN to spend more time with you and your kids - - - but I don't want to move back to B, not because of you or your kids, but just because of B.

Marion has been hit hard, hasn't it? I know the lumberyard that my husband family owns, in Marion, is certainly feeling it.

My best to you.

Carmen - - - thanks for praying, that is what we need above all else.

Kirby - - - yes, these are tough days for Marion and for many cities.

Keetha-you are in my thoughts and prayers.

"Burn-Out" is never a fun thing to go through and decide what to change. That's one (of the many reasons) that I quit my job & decided to stay home with the kids.

I'm not sure what your situation is, but I'm praying you'll find the answers you need!

Just please tell me you won't quit blogging! :)

Julie - - - there is NO chance that I will stop blogging. That bug has bitten me severely!!! Thanks for thinking of me and praying.

Keetha I'm sorry that you are walking through this difficult journey. But the more I learn about the character of Christ, is that these times are when He does what He does best. He makes beauty out of ashes, He uses unfit, desperate, and profane human beings as part of His divine plan. He is such a good God, take a moment to tap into His know the kind that raised Christ from the sustain you now!

Much love from Minneapolis....

From my facebook "status" this a.m.:

My devotional this a.m.: If you see your problems as an opportunity for strengthening your character and convictions, you will be able to rise above them & persevere to see what good things God has in store for you. Endurance is a high sign your faith is growing. (From the One Year Mini for Women)

Hang in there, friend.

Thank you, Kathy. I'm "hanging"

I can't find my blog said...

You know "they" say that you shouldn't comment unless you can add something of 'value' to the conversation? Yeah, I'm not following that advice. I don't think that I can add anything here except that I came, I read, I'm thinking of you and praying for you. I think that I know what you are feeling and facing (well, mostly anyway,) and crossroads are never easy. Love ya, Sister!
