Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Silver Linings and Words

.

Remember that old adage,
"For every cloud there's a silver lining?"

Here it is!!!
The silver lining on the
TOP of the storm cloud bank.

We saw lots of silver linings today
As we flew somewhere over the rainbow.

This place is GREAT
As airport fare goes.

My burrito was HUGE.
Huge I tell ya.
Full of chicken, and rice, and beans, and cheese
And guacamole, and lettuce and black olives,
And pico de gallo, AND the kitchen sink!!!

But don't you worry,
I devoured every bite!!!

Oh Kirby just looky here!!!!
This will be you in a few short weeks.
(I told you I had an arm up my sleeve!!!)

And now for what I accidentally heard today
(While I was blatantly and
purposefully eavesdropping
in planes and airports)

"If it has a berry or a pod, TURN IT OFF."

"She has a pony tail"

"What a wild one!!"

"89.7 percent!"
(I have no clue of what!
And why .7 instead of just 90???)

"Back there is a whole different story!"

(The next two were part of a conversation
About the man who hijacked a plane this week)

"He'll be gettin' 3 free meals a day for a while."

"Yah, at YOUR expense!"

* * * * * * * *

"They're just neanderthals up there"

"Up . . . up left . . . your OTHER left . . .
That's a good left, GO!"

And my personal favorite of the day:

"We gladly accept 50's, 20's,
fine jewelry, and your grandma's old recipes,
Anything you want to toss."

Hope you enjoyed your flight with me today!!!!

Hahaha... I felt as if I were on that plane with you, Keetha. Whew! What an exhausting experience. I think I need a cup of hot black coffee and some sweet Matzoh candy; have you got any? No? No? Then go LOOK at MINE... pictures are up.

Happy landings. :-)

I spy a Kindle! I thought that arm up your sleeve was the Mantee Mailbox that I mentioned the other day.

Oh I dislike eating at the airport and I'm always famished - You found great looking food though!

Purposefully eavesdropping - I love it!

word of the day - ovella

Kirby - - - yep it was a Kindle!!! I'd been telling hubby all about yours for days, and he was sitting on the aisle, spotted it and pointed it out to me, so I LEANED over him to catch that little shot to show you!!! See - - - I was THINKIN' of ya on our trip!!!

Mom...that burrito looks EXACTLY like a Chipotle burrito. I mean really, it could be a Chipotle burrito. So I'm pretty sure you DO like Chipotle. haha :)
