Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

On the Way Today

.
These are some things I spotted
While we were out and about today.

Landscaping.
I've never seen a city that does it better
Than Naples, Florida.
This is just one small sample
Of the beauty that is EVERYWHERE.

An old style, traditional Florida home.
You can't see it very well from this angle,
But it is up on stilts and has siding.

We couldn't tell if it was truly an old
Florida home that has been lovingly cared for
And eventually surrounded by highway,
Or if it was built as a replica
Of that which used to be.

Greg thinks replica of that which used to be,
I hope it is an original.

Gate house at Hammock Bay

Sister Pam's condo towers.
They can be seen for miles
Because they are the only
Tall boys in the neighborhood!!!

And for all of you who wondered,
Grammy,
Why the place looks so empty - - -
Here are the cars

Hiding in the parking garage.

Where did you spot the old FL style home?

Can't believe you're showing pics of the parking garage!

"It has siding"

As opposed to NOT having siding?!?!

Sorry, Keetha, but I don't think that is an old home! :)

You can believe it's an old Florida home, but it doesn't look that way to me. :) but I wasn't there!

My favorite old Florida homes are those on the water or canals that are one story 50's creations with some sort of wooden carport. I especially like the ones with the Manatee Mailboxes!

The azaleas are just gorgeous!

Keri - - - most FL homes are covered with stucco not siding.

The house doesn't look old from the angle I took, but before the car slowed down enough in the turn for me to snap the shot, it did look older.

Pam, it was off of I-75 on our way to downtown Naples from Ft Myers.

keri-florida homes don't generally have siding... you know that whole hurricane thing? it's not usually very good on siding!

Pam-I tried to ans you directly by clicking on your name but it took me to my blog...bummer. Guess we will have to wait till our "jet set" sister & D-I-L returns from vacation to learn what I am doing wrong.

Anyway, she took pic of garage to show me there were people there at the condo!!! Look at those fancy cars too!!! Mine is the red one!!! Ha!!! I LOVE your condo!!!!
