Here's what I came away with:
(No, I did NOT steal them)
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhalJYcnwQyiZyxnwA2veyqGzY1F7cIP6wJy3ylFoqBFxdybU7Oo1TCrjbycc0KA3grkkmz_NKqiESocXVHpy_a69BQcvoTRwvAQ4u4QBFtVpqtV3wbMp99hagI17mv1wWh62m4bgKPnMg5/s400/tmpphphr89zf.jpg)
And know what these are before I tell you.
I had never seen them before and was
Quite fascinated with them.
They are magnetic bead strips.
Because the magnetic beads will
Adhere to each other, they can be
Worn in a plethora of ways
Without the bother of a clasp.
Here are a few examples:

Single strand necklace,
Or in the manner shown here
With as much of a "tail" hanging down
In the front as you wish.
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjgP1ljcr__akQrEgm7h2DWSFIi4t9GaaFtwzTOONGQFn_WzwtDUo8dqHgxGy5QfiXoqj2y4zTbBTgtjQpC7OpACxvvNeus7FBOuGqHB-pYgFb7LgVfLWGOne3pdTqkmasDgGTMUeB7P4I/s400/tmpphpu3eoAe.jpg)
Or let them look like two matching
Strands of beads.
And my personal favorite:

To make a bracelet or an anklet.
They were going off the shelf
Like hot cakes.
Next I picked out these:

As a year-round beach reminder.
I will put them in a glass bowl with
Sand in the bottom.
They are from lower center
And rotating clockwise:
Murex Endive ( dorsal side)
Snake Head Cowrie (dorsal side)
Snake Head Cowrie (ventral side)
Land Snail
Sea Urchin Spine
(You thought I bought a cigar, didn't you!?!)
Murex Endive (ventral side)
Sea Bean
The sea bean isn't a shell,
It's a seed.
It's lovely and smooth
And looks like a flattened Buck Eye.
Since I am a Badger,
I LOVE to flatten Buck Eyes!!!!
Can I get an Amen from
Any Wolverines out there?????
.

I love those necklaces and that long skinny shell, i've never seen one like that.
The long skinny shell isn't a shell, it's a sea urchin spine.

I don't shop much if any, so I hadn't seen that magnetic necklace, bracelet, anklet - how cool!
I'm a Spartan (still, even after the awful loss the other night) and I agree with the buckeye flattening lol
COOL LOOT, Keetha! I love your finds. The necklaces are cool, as are the sheels. Yes...I do see a cigar in that group. LOL. They are going to be lovely in a bowl!! Wish I could've actually gone with you!
