Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Florida Trip Questions Answered

.

Oh my goodness!!!! You all have made me SOOOOOOOO happy this morning. I found a gazillion comments ALREADY on my first Florida post. OK, so it was only 8 - - - but eight's GREAT!!!

I guess I am less than adequate with the King's English, so since inquiring minds want to know, let me answer a few questions right here and now so the REST of the world, who are of course also reading this blog but just not commenting, will also know.

We still have a one-bar-wonder free internet service RIGHT HERE in sis's condo and I am coming to you live and in person from there.
(I'll be showing you this beautiful condo in a later post just as soon as I get enough pictures.) Actually this morning it is even giving me FAST service, probably due to the fact that I'm on it early. It is AWESOME to not have to go all over creation in search of WiFi, nor to have to pay $10/day to get it!!!

I noticed on my computer weather bug that we were escaping snow flurries in Indiana by coming this week. Oh what a bummer to have to miss that!!! - - - - - - NOT.

No, I am NOT on spring break again this week. Hubby is attending a medical conference here and I played hooky from school and tagged along. So while this is absolutely a vacation for me, it isn't totally so for hubby, however he does have the afternoons and evenings free.

And last but certainly not least. No, Keri, "_osh" is not an illegal word for most people, it just is for me. It is a euphemism for for our Lord's name, and I won't take that lightly nor in vain, even as a euphemism. That's my own personal choice in the matter.

Now - - - let's finish up yesterday's fun. Later today, AFTER it has happened, I will post all about today. I'm sure you are all waiting eagerly on the edges of your proverbial, or not so proverbial, seats for that!!

This is where we dined last evening. Hubby was happy since Guy is a painting fisherman and one whom hubby watches on the ever popular 24/7 World Fishing Network.

Hubby likes to wear his old-geezer FL shirts when we come down here. Cass, this is right up there on a par with Howard's turkey shirt, don't'cha think???

Standing with Greg is his dad. Thanks dad for the lovely meal.

Guy's food was delicious and the atmosphere very beach.

We did not choose to eat on the blue patio since there WAS NO SNOW HERE - - - and it was too HOT in the setting sun to sit outside. But, isn't it a great blue patio???

As we were leaving, I snapped this early evening photo of the waterway, which makes me want to end this post with the following quote from Genesis:

"And the morning and the evening were the first day."

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaah (that's a "feeling blue" (and a little envious green) GROAN because it was too HOT to sit on the patio!) Also, I love Guy and I love your last picture!!

Good for you for taking off for a vacation! You evidently were not treated well enough on Spring Break by Mr. Marriott, so you deserve this vacation!

i'm quite possibly the most jealous person on the planet right now. i would give just about anything to be OUT of indiana... preferably for good, but i'd take a vacation at this point!

LOL Jewel - - - Mr. Marriott did have his issues, didn't he?

Haley - - - though I love visiting here now, I am more than happy living in Indiana. There are pros and cons to every place. What looks like paradise when one is on vacation can have a lot of negatives for those who LIVE there - - - trust me, a resident filled me up on the DOWN SIDE to this FL paradise this morning on my walk.

Being a Michigan native, I can tell you that Florida has a lot of sun - bright, hot, (did I say bright?) Sun! My house looks like a cave sometimes to keep out the Florida sunshine.

Your vacation looks fabulous though :) and that blue patio is striking. I guess I didn't realize that you were going to be with family on your vacation. That's really nice, too. :)

Can't wait to read the next installment!

We've never eaten at Guy's, but I recognize the location as The Esplanade. You didn't critic the food - was it good? We like Nacho Mama's and Captain Brien's - they are both in the shopping center at the south end of Collier.

Did you get the name of the resident that filled you in on Hammock Bay's downside? Did you walk "our route?" (And what about the stairs at beginning and end...)

Man oh Man - I just need to be there with you!

Hey Keetha, I think Howard may have that same shirt! He loves those crazy old geezer shirts (lucky me!) and our girls like to buy them for him.

Have a blast in Florida. It is paradise for most people. For me, not so much, as it also is home to my in-laws. Only kidding. Maybe.

Keep posting! I loved that blue patio -- what great furniture.

We won't tell anyone you are playing hooky, don't worry; your secret is safe in cyberspace.

I'm glad you're having a good time. I lived in FL for years and, well, I don't miss it. At all. Not even a little bit. But I'm glad YOU'RE enjoying it!

How appealing that looks when we're still cold and windy. Have a wonderful week, Keetha!

Haley, there is no possible way you're any more jealous than I am!!! That's MY GRANDPA in that picture and I could have been having dinner and catching up with him!! I MISS YOU, GRANDPA!!!!

I said this in an earlier comment and I'll say it again...I am ACHING to be back there. :(

And I'm waiting on pins and needles to hear your answers to Aunt Pam's questions!

It looks beautiful there! Meanwhile, I'm looking out the window and seeing a coating of snow in Ohio. Ugh.
