Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Piper Time

.

The other day, Fisherhubby and I got to have a little two-on-one Piper time while her mommy, daddy, and big brother were off doing something else.

First we buckled her into her little car seat - - - and then we were off to exotic places.

One of our favorite places - - - Bummie's.

Bummie's is one of the REAL old fashioned drive-ins still alive and well in America.

You know, the kind of place where the car hop comes to your window to smile and take your order.

Papoo made Piper smile just by getting her OUT of that car seat. Piper ate a chicken strip and drank root beer.

Papoo and I had the Indiana classic, and our favorite, grilled tenderloin. This is made from a slice of pork tenderloin that has been pounded flat and then grilled. As you can see, there's much more meat than bun. YUMMY.

After Bummie's, we went back to Piper's house where - - -

Papoo entertained Piper for more than half an hour by using his Blackberry to make a video of her and then playing it back for her over and over again. It was the cutest thing EVER.

How in the WORLD did they babysit BEFORE the advent of electronic gadgets?????

What a nice way to spend the day. Piper is an adorable little girl. You are right, there are not many old fashion drive-ins around anymore.

Hey there, Keetha! What a sweet little thing she is! Don't blink because you only get 'em in that cute size for a minute.
Tomorrow she'll be 18 and "can do whatever she wants."

Mmmm that sandwich is a bit mouth watering! I wish we had drive-in places over here like you do. Some of the McD's are drive ins but you have to shriek you order into a radio-thing then it mightor might not be the right thing when you get it home. For home you have to go to eat it!

Sounds wonderful. I haven't seen a drive in food place for years. Many, many years! She is so darn cute. So glad you got to have time with her.

Cute pictures of the cuties!! Hope you're doing well. I was a little out of it when you called me the other day but you didn't call me again so I'm assuming you got home ok. :)

I agree....I gave my 1 y/o grandson the remote control to the TV a few weeks ago and said "have at it"

Bummies? What a hoot! The hottest dog in town :)

In the days of yore I recall entertaining kids with keys, sock puppets and performance art. Performance art = making funny faces, saying peek a boo a million times, etc LOL
