Uggggg. Hope all went well. 40!!!!
I remember those days! 7 hours doesn't seem enought time for 40!! When I taught we did 15 min. conferences each and spread them out over 2 days. Sounds like a CRAZY day! And you will no doubt be there later than 7 because you always get behind somewhere!!
Yikes! I will pray for strength and endurance!

I'm here - - - at the conference site as I type.
Four more have been added to my list - - - so now it's 44 before walk-ons.
Fortunately, I talk fast, and smile frequently, so it shouldn't be toooooo bad.
I'll keep you posted - - - - IF I get a break.
Oh - - - and I'm not an elementary teacher, and up here in HS and MS we have tables set up in the cafeteria and parents visit from table to table. We don't schedule 15 minute intervals. Some take less, some take more.
All I can say is yuck!!! I have nothing but sympathy for you my friend. I'm sitting enjoying a nice sunny day while Halle is napping. I think I'll read a book!

danman, Was your comment meant for me? If so, my comment was not meant to be hateful. I've been through marathon Jr High conferences, and also events with lots of smiling, and it can be painful to the jaw - seriously. Keetha, you deserve a spa treatment including a facial massage -- it's wonderful!
LOL Nancy - - - I THINK Danman was saying that it was just plain HATEFUL that we had to be at conferences so long.
Mine lasted until 7:30. There at the end I FORGOT to count exactly how many I ended up having today. I know a couple didn't show up and several extras walked in so I think I came out pretty close to the 44 I expected to have.
We have a few more tomorrow afternoon, but it doesn't extend past the end of the school day then.
Keetha, What? The world DOESN'T revolve around me and my comments? LOL.
