On my way home from school today I heard Sir Roger Moore on "Talk of the Nation" on NPR.

Sir Roger had taken his eight year old son out to eat. While in the restaurant, the following conversation ensued:
Son: Daddy, could you beat up anyone in this restaurant?
Sir Roger: (After looking around and seeing that he was considerably younger than anyone there.) Yes son, I think I could.
Son: But Daddy, if James Bond was in here, could you beat HIM up?
Sir Roger: Son, I'M going to be James Bond.
Son: No daddy, I mean the REAL James Bond, Sean Connery!!!

Hahaha!
I was just having this conversation the other day with someone...I said how Sean was my favorite BOND-ahh hes so adorable...dont like this new one.
Priceless.
Leave it to the kids, huh?
And the COOLEST thing - - - I HEARD Roger Moore tell the story himself!!!
I heard that yesterday, too - that is just priceless. Out of the mouth of babes.
Although I have to say that Roger Moore is who I think of as the real James Bond.
I'm guessing that the reason you think of him as the REAL James Bond is your age - - - - you were too little or not alive when Sean Connery was.
