Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

This Week's Flock of Frags

.

Old Master Time is relentless. It seems that he spins the weeks by faster and faster, and I can barely keep up even with pulling together the broken pieces, the bits and fragments of my life, to share with you on Fridays.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

I plan to go through this house one day - - - it's some kind of a museum now. But can you imagine living here and calling this home?

* * * * * * * * * * * *

Fellow blogger and dear friend, U.P. Annie, came for a visit this week. We "did lunch", shopped at my favorite "Cranberry Creek", dropped in on my friend Eloise (pronounced E-Lois), and - - -

Moseyed along the banks of the Mighty Wisconsin.

I'm the one who moseyed - - - it is the only speed I know.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

A flock of flamingos roosted in the neighbor's yard a few days ago.

They must have been far off their normal course as we aren't the tropics here!

They enjoyed grazin' and sippin' for a couple of days, then a minivan came and carried them away.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

We try to have monthly "Culver's Fellowships" 'round here. Lots of food, laughs, and fun.

Last month we had such a good turn out we had to go back to practicing segregation.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

My friend Cindy had THIS guy in her neighborhood a few days ago. She's seen him right up in her yard in the past - all 300 or so pounds of him!!

She's become quite the "bear whisperer"!

Not to be outdone, Fisherhubby and I want you to know that we have a wild beast in OUR YARD too - - -

Meet Chippy.

We have completely lost ownership of our yard to this ferocious beast.

Of course, there is the fact that FH leaves sun flower seeds out on our stoop for Chippy, because that's just how he rolls.

Your wild animal looks much safer and cuter.

Thanks for sharing fragments of your busy days. I can't believe how green everything looks. Everything is so dried up and brown around here in the summertime. Looks like a great time.

The flamingos seem like a fun fundraising idea.

Thanks Keetha for sharing this with us...your fragments of life and the flying of time!! I've been with my grands for THREE WEEKS and don't know where they went, although I've been so busy!! The cutest wild animals and such pretty country side, so fresh and inviting around your parts. You sure had a lovely visit with fellow blogger. Have a great weekend too.

I'd feel safer with Chippy over that bear any day. Love me some Culvers.

I didn't realize you were under seige from that handsome chipmunk. We have a couple that scold us when we're out in the back yard.

Today I saw a turkey today on my way over to my sister's house! A turkey, right in town!

Thanks for the great lunch at El Mezcal. Yum!

Ha! Flamingos. Believe it or not, I used to own a business that went in the dark of night and filled people's yards with flamingos (or cows, or pigs or hearts) along with a huge sign to wish people happy birthday or anniversary. It was a blast!

And a bear! Yikes, I wouldn't want to run in THAT guy.

Have a great weekend,
jj

I love catching up with you!
How fun that a fellow blogger came to visit...sounds like you two had a great time!
I can't believe how many folks have left me comments thinking i am so brave to live around bears!
haha!
I think they believe that as soon as I step out my door, the bears come a running!
Summer goes so fast but very soon we will make a plan for our get together. Dan is working on the h.s. house and we'll give you a tour when you come over.
Hugs friend,
Cindy

It's always so nice to meet fellow bloggers. I bet you had a great time getting to know each other in person.

That bear...in a yard...whoa. They'd be slipping in my ---you know what---as I ran in to call 911. LOL

Ya, y'know I had a home like that one museum you shared a photo of....before I became a nillionaire [that's one with no money]. LOL

NOT!!!

A CLEAN BREAK is my post today.

You have been very busy. That's a good thing but I agree, weeks are flying by so quickly! Love the flamingos. Hope your weekend is a great one!

Chipmunks are so cute! And much smaller and easier to feed than bears--can you imagine how much sunflower seed you'd have to put out to keep a bear in your yard? Of course it appears that your fierce friend will keep your yard bear free so you don't have to worry about it!

Have you been getting rain? The grass looks very green - please share with Indiana; they are hurting!

We've had bear visitors for years, but they usually arrive in May. This year, we didn't see them at all. Must be the odd spring.

We, too, have had flamingos in the neighborhood, but during winter. They really brighten up a neighborhood, don't they? :)

I love touring old houses. Maybe one day when you and I meet, we can tour that one together?!

Thanks for linking up! Have a great weekend.

You look beautiful in the photo, Keetha.

Cindy's visitor - oooh. But what an excellent photo of the lurking bear!

And I wouldn't mind calling that beautiful house home. Only, I'd die dusting :D

Great Friday post!
