Old Master Time is relentless. It seems that he spins the weeks by faster and faster, and I can barely keep up even with pulling together the broken pieces, the bits and fragments of my life, to share with you on Fridays.

I plan to go through this house one day - - - it's some kind of a museum now. But can you imagine living here and calling this home?

Fellow blogger and dear friend, U.P. Annie, came for a visit this week. We "did lunch", shopped at my favorite "Cranberry Creek", dropped in on my friend Eloise (pronounced E-Lois), and - - -


Moseyed along the banks of the Mighty Wisconsin.


I'm the one who moseyed - - - it is the only speed I know.

A flock of flamingos roosted in the neighbor's yard a few days ago.


They must have been far off their normal course as we aren't the tropics here!


They enjoyed grazin' and sippin' for a couple of days, then a minivan came and carried them away.

We try to have monthly "Culver's Fellowships" 'round here. Lots of food, laughs, and fun.


Last month we had such a good turn out we had to go back to practicing segregation.

My friend Cindy had THIS guy in her neighborhood a few days ago. She's seen him right up in her yard in the past - all 300 or so pounds of him!!

She's become quite the "bear whisperer"!

Not to be outdone, Fisherhubby and I want you to know that we have a wild beast in OUR YARD too - - -

Meet Chippy.

We have completely lost ownership of our yard to this ferocious beast.

Of course, there is the fact that FH leaves sun flower seeds out on our stoop for Chippy, because that's just how he rolls.
