That we've got Orioles???
Fisherhubby took this photo right through the patio door screen.
Think of it as a filter or a special effect. "Wildlife on the grid."
Mr. Baltimore is bright orange and black in his tuxedo - - - very breathtaking.
Mrs. Baltimore is a little more conservative in her choice of gowns.

What a pretty color! She is so cute or is it a he since he is colorful?....Christine
Thanks for the portraits of the Oriole family! I haven't seen one since we moved back up north. We do have a beautiful cardinal family though, and my favorite birds---the Flickers.
This year we've had white-crowned sparrows migrate through. I've never seen them before.
that msde me happy
What a beautiful sight Keetha. Thanks to you for sharing. Enjoy your day.
Nothing like that here in CO. Like Annie, we have some birds that have migrated in that I haven't seen before and maybe her description is correct. I'll have to Google them to see if that is what they are.
We DO have robins, house finches, flickers, magpies to name a few, tho.
It is always fun to see what my bloggy friends birds look like!
Hugs

He did good!. I like the shot through the screen. Just adds to it.
I love orioles! I usually hear them arrive and shortly after that, they are everywhere!
I'm sure you've been thinking that I dropped off the face of the earth. Things have just been busy, so I haven't had as much time for posting or visiting.
Wish we could see some orioles around here. A friend saw an indigo bunting a few days ago. Sadly, I can't keep feeders where I can see them because of my squirrel problem. :-(
Lucky you! Hope the couple sticks around.
I put up the Hummingbird and oriole feeders yesterday but have yet to see one of the orange guys! Or Girls. or chicks or whatever they are!
Awe cute little birds! We have a cute little cardinal couple that enjoys sitting by our window every morning. That is till the trains come by and scare them away!
Well, I like both of their outfits.
We are big bird watchers at our house. We have all sorts of visitors to our feeders. Right now we have baby birds in a front porch fern and 4 eggs in another. Can't wait to see some hummingbirds. Hope all is well in your world.
The Mrs. is more shy about being photographed too (typical couple).
Be well, K.

Guys are such show-offs, aren't they? :)
PS Tell Hubby I love the special effects!
LOVE THE BIRDIES!!!!
Saw a Baltimore in our yard last week. First time ever here on the hill....I love the Eastern Bluebirdies that land and eat as well.....See, Spring is certainly there...Summer not far behind...
Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures....Also the ones of your grands....Aren't grands the greatest?
Mine are too....3 boys and 1 girl....15, 13, 5, and 7 months....
Wish they lived closer....
So pretty! We have mockingbirds and blue jays to enjoy, too.
No hummingbirds, though, I mean, not in my yard. They visit other people but not mine. I think I'll put away the pretty feeder since they just ignore it!
I have tried and tried to get orioles in my yard.....
I have hummingbird feeders, suet, sunflower seeds....but no orioles.
I LOVE the orioles! They are such a handsome bird...I "LOVE" the effect through the screen, you are ALL SET now to immortalize them in a X-Stitch...Have a fun weekend,
Hugs,
Donna
Love bird watching! They are all beautiful in different ways! I like the scree effect:) Have a blessed weekend! HUGS!
I don't recall that I've ever seen an Oriole. I'm really loving the checkerboard pattern. It reminds me of gingham.
