Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

The Pack is Back!!!

.

Please don't let this post confuse you - - - I'm still COLTS BLUE through and through.

But the Colts didn't make it to the Super Bowl this year, and the PACKERS did. Besides, I was a Packer Backer all through high school and I wasn't ABOUT to pull for those Steelers.

We watched the game with our friends over at Eloise and Bill's place. This was the upstairs, NOISY crew.

And this was the downstairs quiet and refined crew. I wasn't allowed down there not being of the quiet and refined ilk.

We had quite the party buffet - - - and this doesn't even include the stuff that was out in the kitchen!!

The first half of the game was a breeze - - - there was LOTS of cheering and even some shouting goin' on upstairs.

All was sedate and quiet below.

Second half turned into a nail biter - - - so I spent a lot of time "grazing" around the table. The hot wings chicken tenders were THE BOMB!

Finally - - - with just seconds to go - - - it became clear that the Pack was indeed BACK - - - and that they were going to win their fifth Super Bowl by six points.

There was riotous celebrating upstairs - - - including a little victory dance by Dane!

And the downstairs folk (bottom dwellers) broke into spontaneous, if silent, waves of joy.

Aaron Rodgers - - - you're THE MAN!

I decided in the 11th hour to fully pull for the Pack.

Well done, boys!

Oh Aaron is the man!!
Hubby was biting his nails like crazy! Finally, I had to go into the other room because my nerves were shot!
But all is well in Packerland tonight!
Looks like a fun party!
Need to go rest now,
night night!

Congratulations! Happy for the Packers (and their fans)!!!

I guess Aaron is the man all right, discounting the set of downs where there was a penalty on every play....but I'm patting the defense on the back for intercepting and recovering fumbles. It warn't purty, but a win's a win, for all that. And we played and beat a good team. And we came out on top.

And man, are we happy!

Congratulations to the Pack! Aaron Rogers was outstanding as was the defense. Looks like no one spilled salsa on the carpet in your photos. Only 6-1/2 melting months left to the start of college football!

Someone said Rodgers was a Christian. Some other Packer, I can't remember who, gave God glory post-game.

Sounds like fun! It's always nice to be with a good group of friends...especially when good food is involved, too!

I was so so happy to see them win, even if I did miss most of the game. My husband wouldn't have been allowed with the downstairs folk either LOL

So glad you had a great group to celebrate and watch the game.
