Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

North by Northwest

.

We headed into northwestern Wisconsin today with Hayward being our final destination.

I really didn't do well remembering to use my camera - - - so if you come across pictures in this post that are snowless and instead have green grass, green leaves, or maybe even flowers - - - you can hypothetically conclude that those photos came out of my photo archives.

Hypothetically.

Before we left Eau Claire we did a little shopping. I can't WAIT to see what Brunhilda and Borris think of these salt and peppers. I'm SURE they will have definite opinions.

Then we drove up to Hayward and checked into the Comfort Suites. This is a lovey hotel right on the shores of the Namekagon River.

We ate supper at our FAVORITE place - - - Karbs. There was much squealing and hugging and greeting when our friends (the waitresses, Kate and Holly) heard we are now Wisconsin residents.

The chef made me my FAVORITE dinner - - - even though it isn't on the menu any more. He spoils me rotten.

Now I am sooooooo full I'm sure I shan't need to eat for a month - - - - oh but wait, we're going to a BUFFET brunch tomorrow after church. I guess I'll have to limit myself to salad and water.

NOT.

Back in the hotel I set up my blogging station, put on the comfy PJs, and settled in to watch the Colts.

Fisherhubby, being a football whimp, can't TAKE watching the Colts, so he turned his head the other way and watched some scary horror movie on his lappy with headphones blotting out all sound of my game.

He can take horror, but he draws a line at the kind of suspense the Colts are oh so fond of dishing out.

Now that the game is over, and our Colts have LOST by one measly little point - - - I wonder if he had the better plan.

At least we won't have to go through this particular nail-biting suspense again until NEXT SEASON since playoffs are "one and done" and we are DONE!!!

steve is so sad. He had his colts jersey pressed and clean ready to wear to church. He says he might still wear it but also wear a black mourning arm band. :( so who are you rooting for?

My team never got started this year, but it will get better next season. I am glad you had a nice little outing. These are the kind of trips I enjoy. I have never been to your part of the country. Looks like a lot of interesting things there.
