Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Hypothetically Speaking - - -

.

Fifty-six year old women have no business trying to stand on top of one of these to reach into a high cupboard when they are packing to move.

I'm just sayin' - - -

Not that I'd personally know from experience or anything.

I'll live, but one of my finger nails may not.

That was not a wise move on your part. Something a lot more important could have broken. At your age, you should know better. Take care and do not over do it.

Oh dear! Glad it's only a fingernail. I have the same stools and have been seen up on them, and of course I know better.

Those buggers are dangerous and I avoid any contact other than my butt. :)

Please don't sue the giver of said stools; I believe the statue of limitations has run out anyway! (And I'm the sister lacking in common sense?)

We are not as young as we feel in our heart. Glad you okay!

oooohhhhhhhh BOY! Ya know, eventually your luck will run out and you may do some major damage! We wouldn't want to find out you broke your "keester"!
Good luck with packing at ground level!

I was thinking the EXACT thing when I got on top of my teacher desk at school the other day to fix the clock...my charming students told me the desk was "sagging" in the middle and apparently I hopped off just in time to prevent a gorge from occuring...the formica top is a bit crackled...I am unscathed...another teacher survival moment! In retrospect it could have been a nice few weeks off from school.

We are truly fortunate that a fingernail was the only body part given in sacrifice.

Get a sturdy step-ladder, Girl! I keep one in my kitchen pantry for those occasions. Just a bit of advice from one 56 year old gal to another.

Did you hear that? From LV? "...at your age..."? And MY four-pennyworth? Wrap a BandAid around each fingertip so no nails get damaged. Binding them up will also give you a little moment to muse upon the other possible consequences. Heck, you might have scratchedd the paintwork!

Truly though, I'm glad you're ok

I have those stools, too. Not only is it hard to get up on them.....it is even harder to get down! If things were just not up so high! What's a girl to do, but climb...and pray!
