Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Colts Experience - Lucas Oil Stadium

.

Having never been to a pro football game before, I had nothing with which to compare Lucas Oil Stadium, home of our beloved Colts. Let me just tell you - - - - I WAS IMPRESSED.

First there is the unstadium-likeness of its exterior. This is what you see as you walk toward it. No soft curves. No domed roof. No traditional horse-shoe shaped stadium walls.

The arched entryways remind me of approaching a coliseum, until of course you look at the roof line.

Inside it is big. BIG. And well planned. Everything about it is made to be both spectator and athlete friendly.

There are handy concession stands spaced at frequent intervals on every level. This was my favorite.

The food was tasty and the servings were large. So was the price - nearly $30 for these two meals. But of course we brought home the souvenir cups - - - and had full tummies during the game!

Only the field itself looked small. That was because though it IS a regulation size field, it is DWARFED by the rows and rows, tiers and tiers of seats and people which surround it.

Then there are the windows - high in the sky - at both ends of the field.

Let's not forget the spectacular roof. In this case absence thereof, for it is retractable and was retracted last night to let in the lovely fresh air.

And the view? The stunning downtown Indianapolis sky line.

Very cool! I've never been, though Jessie has (and THAT we won't talk about!) Was it just you and Greg?

An acquaintance of mine just quit school and landed a job with the Colts keeping games and practice stats. Nice life right?

Yay! Pro games are fun, and it looks like the Colts and Indy did it right with the new stadium.

I had never been to a pro game until just last year when we went to the Jacksonville Jaguars. It's so much fun! I'm glad you got a chance to see your beloved colts, with your fabulous new hairdo :)
