Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

It's a Busy Day at Kamma Kamp - Day 3

.
.
It's a busy day at Kamma Kamp, Sir!!!  (Change Kamma Kamp to sea and I stole that line directly from a movie, know which one?)
.

In the morning Kamma took the wee girl kampers for a little pampering at the nail spa.
.

My favorite "nail guy," Andy, does a fabulous job on the nails of girls of all ages - - -
.

On fingers and
.
.
On toes.
.
Meanwhile, back at the Kamp, Papoo (who appeared today in his Indiana Jones persona) took the Little Man Kamper for some male bonding fishing.  They caught a smallie, but Papoo, not being a blogger and all, never even thought to take a pic.
.
At some point, while Kamma was taking the "precious gems" that the wee ones collected at the beach yesterday out of their watery baths in which they had soaked all night long, it was duly noted that one of the shells which had been collected WITH the other gems was not merely an empty lifeless housing but was in fact a very living snail.

Naming of said snail quickly ensued.

Meet Gary.

Begging to keep him and take him home and make an aquarium for him quickly followed the naming process.

Kamma somehow prevailed in convincing the wee kampers that Gary would miss his lake and besides if he happened to DIE en route would, though very tiny, produce a very large stench and so must be returned to his lakey home.
.

Gary actually belonged to Kaeleigh, so she very carefully carried him in his lake water blue bucket back to the shore of Wazeecha where all three wee kampers bid him a very fond and sad adieu.
.

Meanwhile Indiana Jones had succeeded in launching his water craft, piloting over to the beach area, and docking it to join in the kamp festivities.
.
.

Indiana waded right in knee deep with the wee kampers.
.

I did notice that he was able to avoid most of the splashing games that quickly ensued.
.

Then it was time to join Captain Indiana, who is the master of his own ship.
.

I believe the bass/muskie/pike yacht ride was a hit, at least there were smiles all around.
.

Not to be outdone, Kamma pulled out the Capri Suns in a shameless attempt to buy attention and affection.
.

All too soon it was time for Captain Indiana to pull his ship out of the water, so he deposited the kampers and their director on the shore - - -
.

Where they embarked on a short hike back to the car and from thence to - - -
.

The local McD's which proudly sports an indoor playground.
.

Unbeknownst to the Kamp Director, it was family night at said McD's (YES AT McD's - - - who knew?) and there were free crafts being offered to the kids.

How great is that?  The Kamp Director didn't have to do a single bit of planning OR purchasing of supplies OR executing of plans and yet the crafts appeared like magic for the wee kampers!!!!
.

The girl kampers knew right away that they would be crafty.
.

They sat down happily and created their own little Despicable Me finger puppets.
.

And though initially he said he did NOT want to do a craft, even the Little Man Kamper ended up thinking it was pretty cool and came out of the jungle gym long enough to create a little yellow friend.
.

On the way home from the jungle gym, the three wee kampers presented their free frozen custard coupons at the local Culver's with a cheery "to go, please."

Then it was away home for baths, stories, and bedtime prayers.

It really was a busy day at Kamma Kamp, Sir!!!

And now THIS Kamma is very tired so she will bid you a sleepy a bientot!!!
