Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Wherein Santa, Being Old and Gray, Gets the Date Mixed Up

.

Yesterday the kiddos woke up raring to have breakfast. Kamma made sure each one got their food of choice, and Papoo "helped".

There was great excitement in the air, for jolly old St. Nick got his DATES mixed up, and brought some Christmas goodies just in time for Kamma and Papoo to share the "joy."

It was hard to wait for daddy to come back from his morning work.

Presents were handed out to all the GOOD girls and boy (that's all of them) and then the great anticipation ensued.

Finally all the big people were ready and the unwrapping commenced in earnest.

The clothing items were tossed to the wayside like so much useless tripe - - -

But the toys received MORE than their just share of squeals, glee, and hugs.

And for most of the REST of the afternoon - - -

Three little ones played in peace and harmony with their new delights.

It was a huge success.

If you'll look very closely in the BACKGROUND, you will see a couch, on that couch you will see a pillow and a jean covered knee. That would be Papoo, busy "helping."

And as Mackinley would say, "It was CRAZY!"

What fun. An early Christmas so the kids could enjoy one batch of presents at a time! Good idea, Kamma!

Awe how cute! Santa stopped by here early as well. Though he tucked all the goodies into our closet...I guess Santa knew we wouldn't exactly be up to him and his reindeer tappity-tapping on our roof with a new born waking us every couple hours!

They are so adorable Keetha!
And how clever that Santa came early!
Looks like Santas helper got pretty worn out back there.
We got about 4-5 inches of snow around here.
Hugs,
Cindy

It doesn't hurt to have a little early Christmas present opening ceremony:) Now if they will keep their paws off of the rest under the tree! They are precious and all of them look so happy!

Have a blessed day my friend! HUGS!

The best crazy way I can think of to have fun. What a delightful and cute family sharing.

It's more fun to see the gifts being opened than it is to send them - so glad you could witness the joy and the tossing of tripe LOL

Sounds like it was perfect. They are so blessed to have you and you are blessed to have them. Hope your travels home are safe.

What great fun! Funny how clothes are never the favorite for little kids :)

Wow! Keri put her tree up before she left for Uganda? I'm impressed!! Looks like it added ambience to the Christmas fun.

Oh how fun! I bet those sweet things were so excited! We used to do that when I was little. We would travel to NC for Christmas, and somehow Santa always knew to come early...but just to our house!
