Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

After the Snowin'

.

After the snowin' - - - at least 12 inch accumulation of snowin' - - - the clouds rolled away, the skies turned blue, and the sun came out!

Our little town began the process of digging out.

There were precious few church cancellations today - - - ours was on, and if not going strong at least going! I thought the crowd was mighty sparse - - - but I was there as were others.

Oh but Yesterday, when the skies were still gray and the winds were still howlin' and the snow was still sifting down, who'd a thunk it could be so pretty today.

Yesterday these red accoutrements were very important to me as I made many trips to shovel my walk. I am the self-appointed technitian in charge of our front walk.

Are you ready for this? Here's how we look NOW that the snowin' is temporarily over:

You can see my little sidewalk snow-tunnel and Fisherhubby's cleared (snowblower) driveway.

My corner snow shoveling pile is now taller than the little snowmen sled.

During the storm our shrubs looked like this.

And AFTER the snowin' - - - - look at our shrubs now!

Shrubs, shrubs, who's got the shrubs?????

Stay tuned to this same blog for all your future snow-dates!

WOW!!! It's been many years since I've lived anywhere that got that kind of snow! Not sure if I'd prefer digging out of snow, or dealing with hurricanes...something we've had both of here in south Texas over the past few years!

Make sure you stay toasty warm!!!

Even we had snow today down here in Georgia. They say more tomorrow! If only we would have as much as you have - they cancel everything when we get more than an inch!!!

Wow, you got more than we did, but did you get the wind too? That's what's making things worse here.

It does look pretty and sparkly and fresh though, doesn't it?

That is a LOT of snow! Seems they handle it well up there! We had a snowy day today. Not as much accumulation, but it sure was pretty!

Oh girl, now that is some snow! It snowed here today, but it was wispy to say the least! Nothing like yours:)

I am enjoying seeing all of the snow! Our crowd was slim at Church this morning too!

Have a blessed evening! HUGS!

So, I'll sing you to sleep, after the snowin' with a song I just wrote yesterday. And I hope you can hear what the words and the music have to say. It's so hard to explain, the backache I'm feelin, shoveled the walk, the drive and the street, my fingers are numb and I have no more feelin in my feet....

Hey Keetha,
We got 18 inches over here! And we didn't get plowed out until after 5 today!
All the schools around us are closed tomorrow including ours.
What a day!
Looks like your having a ball over there! I might have to move to Rapids!
Hugs,
Cindy

I have to say that it all looks so beautiful. I can't think of anything more beautiful then fresh fallen snow. Good job on your sidewalk. Enjoy your week.
