Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

You May Picture Me - - -

Deep in the northwoods having MAJOR wifi issues.

But folks - - - I am SO dedicated to you (interpreted - addicted to blogging) that I can't let a small thing like NO internet deter me.

No indeedy.

So last evening, you could have seen me sitting in a lawn chair on a dock, rather like this one - - -

Holding lappy up over my head, waving her around, and mumbling "I think I can, I think I can connect" chants.

It worked - - - but briefly. I was online long enough to read one e-mail.

So today I looked like this - - - minus the beard and RV - - - in town checking my blog comments and e-mails until I ran the old lappy battery completely down.

Now, I'm in a coffee shop using wifi and electricity - - - just to say HELLO to you.

We are having a great time, except for the whole wifi disaster. Jenny and I have completed one jig saw puzzle and are two thirds of the way through the second.

Fisherhubby and Mark caught 35 fish (smallies & large mouths) yesterday. They are proud of themselves.

We survived a tornado warning last evening - - - and other than the internet, no casualties.

I watched the Netherlands lose to Spain in the World Cup - - - maybe if I'd pulled for Spain Netherlands would have won. Sorry Dutch Boys, you can blame me!!!

I had a northwoods encounter of the blogging kind today - - - but I'll tell you more about THAT after I get the picture edited.

Ta Ta for now - - - - until you hear from me again, picture me on the end of that dock waving lappy wildly in the air, but not TOO wildly so I don't send her into the drink.

Someday we will be wifi-ed everywhere. Won't that be nice. I couldn't blog from the Shannon River so I lost a lot of details. The most notes I took on the river were notes about how to Voo-Doo a bad neighbor into moving away! I'll have that up soon.

I have done the wifi dance myself, but never at the end of a dock!! LOL>>>hold on to that lappy girl. So glad you are having fun!!!

Oh, Keetha! You had me laughing OUT LOUD with this! The visions in my head -- you on the dock doing the "dance" with your laptop waving above your head AND you with a beard! :) Okay, so you said "MINUS the beard" but I was laughing before I got to that part! Miss you lots. By the way, Gerson is THRILLED Spain won. Sorry you were rooting for the Dutch. But proud you are keeping up with the world from the woods.

Looks like a gorgeous place to have wi-fi/connect problems.

That's definitely one of the challenges of being in the Northwoods! We usually drive into town every night, and sit outside one of the motels and snag their wi-fi, just so we can check our e-mail. I'm going to go through blog withdrawal when we go next month! Now go shave that beard!

When you were holding up the computer looking for waves, I was thinking: "can you connect me now? can you connect me now?"....

I must say, you're more dedicated than I would be because when I'm out in the wilderness, computing is the least thing on my mind, but I do love taking photos...

Glad you're having fun and I guess you'll be eating a lot of fresh fish? Wow, 35! That's a bunch!

Have fun. LBeau and I are off to Washington and Oregon and cooler temps tomorrow. I'll see what kind of internet I get.

I have been there myself! Well, probably not there, but somewhere looking for's sad we're so addicted!
