Weekend Football Reprise

Thank goodness my Badgers beat Fresno State 13 - 10 last night - - -

Thank goodness Notre Dame beat Michigan 35 - 17 - - -

Thank goodness Michigan State, Iowa, Northwestern, Minnesota, Illinois, and Penn State (all of them Big Ten Schools) won - - -

BECAUSE

Ohio State stunk it up - - -

Purdue lost and - - -

The Colt's are playing like this season could be a very long and very painful one.

Later Addendum: Somehow the Colt's pulled it out - - - by a field goal, 18 - 15. We didn't really "play" until the last six minutes. Our running game is sorely lacking. We are going to have to improve if we expect to win many games.

I stand by my prediction that this could be a very long and very painful season.
