Did He or Didn't He - - - You Decide
.
Our son Kelly - - - you simply cannot get ahead of him mentally. You simply cannot outsmart him.
This is the kid who when he was three wrote a sign "Rocks for sale 5c" (Only it was a cent sign which I can't find on my keyboard) and stuck it in a bucket of plain old limestone gravel. When I saw what he was doing I said, "You can't sell those pieces of gravel." He replied "Uh huh!!" and held out his little fist to show me three nickels!!!!!
That's Kelly.
(My word, he was only THREE - - - I should have KNOWN we were in for a LONG ride.)
Well - - - he went to Vegas last weekend with his girlfriend and this picture is what he put on his Facebook when they returned:
Now the question is: Is it real or an elaborate hoax????? You know - - - live or Memorex?
We all LOVE Cathy. We all would LOVE this to be real.
So - - - is it simply a joke, a hoax to get our hopes all up and then dash them to shreds with a big "Gotcha," or - - - -
Is the joke that it is actually REAL and he wants us to all THINK it's a joke so he can say "gotcha" when we don't believe it.
It's a joke - - - one way or the other - - - but which way???????
Vote Real or Hoax in the comments.
And as soon as we figure out the truth, I'll let you know!!!

I'm not even sure I'd DARE to say Real or Hoax with your son, Kelly!!!! You just never know! Like I put on Keri's blog.......you never know with him and his friend, Matt Landis......not when they're apart......and DEFINETLY NOT when they're together!!!! These are cute pictures though.....so, if it is a hoax, they did a great job!
I still vote hoax! I think Cathy would want her family at her wedding!
LOL LOL LOL!!! Cathy would want HER family there - - - but Kelly wouldn't care!!!
Mom, go see the additional baby picture of me that I just posted...
Since I don't know him at all, but I really appreciate a good sense of humor, I'll vote hoax. Perhaps he is enjoying the speculation and watching you squirm. :)
Sounds like hoax- he probably wants you there, too.
It looks real...??
Deven you are so right - - - he IS enjoying the whoop-la he has created.
Headless - - - he would do this, I promise you he would. The only question is, did he? It's not that he doesn't want us there - - - more that he simply cannot resist stirring things up.
Here are the two things that make me think it is a hoax. 1) Cathy's bouquet. I think Kelly would want something A LOT prettier than that - - - he has impeccable taste for expensive things. 2) Kelly's wearing a t-shirt. He dresses up really really really well - - - and knowing his penchant for expensive things, I think he'd want to be wearing a tux or at the least an expensive sharp suit.
But still we wait and wonder - - -
Your family looks as if they have a lot of fun together!
Our kids are all really close now. Such a blessing to this mom's heart when I REMEMBER all those "Mom, he's touching me!!!!" times on trips. :-)
Keetha, I think it's a hoax. They can't even look at the camera in this photo! I'm sure he wouldn't pass up the opportunity to shine in front of a roomful of family and friends - oh, and not to mention the gifts!
Terry
I vote REAL...C'mon Kelly...even though I don't know you, please don't disappoint!
I'd actually LOVE it if it were real - - - we LOVE Cathy.
Terry - - - he'd expect the gifts anyway!!!
What about her? What did she do?
The ¢ (I don't know what will happen to it by the time the browser and Blogger get through with it, but it's a cent sign on this computer so far.) and other non-keyboard characters, may be accessed by Clicking on the Start button, then All Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools, then Character Map. Then find the character you want, and click on it. A key combination that produces the character will be shown, or you can just hit the Select, then Copy, and paste the character into whatever you are using.
Kelly's dad texted him and popped the big question: Are you married?
Kelly's only reply: :)
I think he's teasing, but may be working up to the real thing.
