Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Windows in My City

.

If eyes are the windows of the soul,
Then windows are the what of the building?

Much more than light conveyances
I should think.

Windows in my city
Which stir my imagination.

I love looking at ( and through) such interesting windows. Kind of makes the windows here at home not so exciting, but when you think about cleaning those fantastic windows...

Such pretty and interesting windows.

What amazing windows. I would love to see some of them from inside the buildings, with the light streaming through them.

Dear Keetha,
First off I want to thank you for your comments on my blog. Always good to have another Wisconsinite to chat with. I think spring is finally here...not compared to Illinois, but OK...nice birds, a few tulips, green grass. I'm hoping the leaves pop this week, the trees still look wintery to me. And we need warm weather. Last night we went to the state park here, climbed the tower and froze watching the sun set. We had custard in the car with the heat blasting. it's a good start! I love looking at blogs and try to comment once in awhile too. We are starting our busy season, but I love to relax on the computer...
Have a great weekend!

I have always wanted to do a coffee table book of photos of old churches and of course their windows.

It makes the mind wonder what is depicted on those windows. Thanks, Keetha!

"If eyes are the windows of the soul,
Then windows are the what of the building?" Hmmm, interesting riddle.
They are sort of like a permeable membrane from the outside to the inside and vice versa. A building without windows isn't much fun.

There is a police station where I live that has no windows. I have never been inside of it and I have no desire to go in, it isn't very inviting.

These photos are a good start in documenting all the church windows in your commuity. It would be interesting to see them dividing by faith.
