Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Presto Chango Fall

.
Some of you bloggy gals have decorator blood running through your veins.  You give your homes seasonal makeovers replete with mantles and vignettes galore.

I admire your handiwork, but am too bone idle to do the work involved.  So today I gave our space my own version of a ptresto chango fall redo.

First I strategically placed this pillow on a chair.

Next I plopped a set of placemats and napkins - WITH pumpkin napkin rings - on the dining room table.

Lastly, just for good measure AND because Sister Pam reminded me of its existence, I draped a Fall afghan over the back of the love seat.

PRESTO CHANGO - Fall decorating is done.

Best of all??  It cost me NADA 'cause Sister Pam GAVE me all these things when she moved out of the midwest and into Florida's tropical clime.

You make me smile Keetha. I was just in Pier One Imports longing to buy all of their Fall themed ware. But where would I store everything? I'm already having issues with storage. I like your way better.

That is even more than I do. If I was younger,no way would I go through all the decorating some folks enjoy. Have a good weekend.

Count me in the same camp as you and LV. I have a fall wallhanging behind the TV corner----and I'm only a little ashamed that it's been hanging there since last fall.

I did go and buy a new couch today though. First time ever.

Well, just a little touch makes such a difference and your little touches look very nice. Happy weekend!

Looks like just enough for me - sometimes I just overdo it....I am starting to reconsider the "less is more" thought and need to keep remembering it!

And I especially like the "foreshadowing" of the upcoming Christmas season with the Christmasy candy-dish thingy by the couch. (What IS that thing? LOL!)

In all seriousness, it looks great! I'm all for simplicity!

Hi, Keetha! I admire what you've done to decorate, even though you don't think it's much--it's more than I've done! I've been so preoccupied with trying to finish my novel that I've allowed my house to "undecorate" itself!

Did I hear you say, "What novel?" A retelling of the Adam and Eve story, which is already generating some interest in the publishing community. (Pssst! There are some excerpts on my blog, www.ItsAllAboutMarcia.blogspot.com, keyword - "sample".)

Looks great! I applaud your effort! I am making an effort to get back to blogging, so please stop by and say hi if you have a chance!

Hey, that's the way to do it!! Seriously! I have to decorate on my blog because I don't do so well in my own home. No decorator gene here.

I am hoping I didn't put you off with my bloggy offer.
