Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Sleeper in My City

.
.
I married a man, Fisherhubby, who can (and often does) fall asleep anyplace at any time in any position.
.

When this man is ready to sleep he does - - -
.

Many times not even bothering to lie down first.
.
.
On rare occasions I find him stretched out full length in what appears to be a comfortable position.
.

.
More often than not, however, he has a propensity for squeezing his bulk into less space than his bulk requires.

This results in feet and head in some pretty awkward sleeping positions.
.

.
If I should try to wake him he mumbles something about being comfortable and stays right where he is.

Which seems to me would result in neck and leg cramps.
.

He has even become quite adept at clutching the remote control in his sleep.
.
Of course there are those moments when he isn't actually asleep, hears my camera clicking, and gives me a cheery "I love you so much" hand salute, which I have edited for the purposes of this "G" rated blog.
.
.

I love this idea! What great pics of this sleeping beauty/fisher/hubby guy! I think I have one of those, too, but just not the fisher kind... more the work on the car kind. Thanks for sharing all of your great couches, too!

LOL, all I could think of was the post I did quite some time ago about the odd places my youngest grandson falls asleep. I wonder if he is going to grow up to be like your fisherhubby. :D

I can imagine the hand salute he's giving you for having posted these pictures of him!

My favorite is the one with the remote! So funny!

What is it about men? My husband is also a frequent sleeper.

LOL! I hate to admit it but I do the same thing! I have fallen asleep with the remote in my hand also. Thank God for my DVR!

That last photo made me laugh. This sleeping skill must be a guy thing, my husband is the same way.

Keetha, I see a kindred soul! I've mastered the art of catching a nap, anywhere, any time :D

It is so sweet to see it as a series of photos though!

A salute to Mr.FisherHubby!

You are lucky you only got a hand gesture from this sleeping beauty. I would give anything if I could sleep like that regardless of the position. Enjoyed so much seeing fisherhubby doing something besides fishing. Maybe he has a slow heart rate. I have friends that do, and they are a sleep as soon as they hit a chair. Is it the light, or his socks do not match?

I have one of those, too! And he snores! He will start snoring and when we call him on it, he will look us straight in the eye and swear that he wasn't sleeping -- haha!
Have a great week!

You're funny that you cropped the one finger salute out of the last picture. You could start a blog of a daily sleeping pic of Fisherhubby.

I wondered if Fisher hubby knew you were putting all these flattering pics of him online! ha ha ha ha
Have a good week, Keetha.

Your husband is hilarious. I can't even imagine being able to sleep in some of these positions.

Ok that is hilarious! He really can sleep anywhere!

That skill could come in really handy! My dad used to fall asleep in his chair after dinner. If my mom and I would get to giggling about something, he would sometimes smile in his sleep as if he were participating in the fun. That would always crack us up. I love the last picture the best!

The old Hawaiian good luck sign. As he rests obviously he is aware that he is the subject of blogger material. That's a good skill for a fisherman to have too. Sense your environment, know where the fish are.

I've always envied those who could sleep anywhere!

I envy his ability to sleep like that and he's pretty good with that middle finger.
