Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Family Time - In My Former City

.
Saturday while Fisherhubby and I were here in Central Wisconsin, most of the rest of our family met in Marion, Indiana for the dedication of my great-niece, Morgan.
.

My dad, known to the kids as Peepaw, conducted the ceremony.

Being a retired minister conducting ceremonies is one of the things he does best.
.

Little Miss Morgan seems to take it all in stride as long as she is securely held in mommy Misti's arms.
.

If daddy David looks a bit familiar to you it may be because you saw him on "Coast Guard Alaska" on the Weather Channel.  He flies a Coast Guard rescue helicopter out of Sitka, Alaska and has appeared on that show multiple times.
.

My Sister Pam, who in this case is grandma, holds Morgan's big sister Carson during the main event.

Carson is an old hat at this having already been dedicated herself "years" ago.
.

Daddy David holding his two girls.

Now let the family times begin:
.

Our daughter, Keri, and her cousin Misti who is also the mother of Miss Morgan, star of the show.
.

Auntie Korie with Piper and Mackinley, who are Keri's children.  This is a "mutual admiration society" with plenty of love going in all directions.
.

Kisses all around.
.

Uncle Kelly and Piper.  Looks like Uncle Kelly is recovering nicely from the broken rib and bruised lung from his skiing accident a couple of weeks ago.

You remember the one - - - he skied off a cliff because he was on the black diamond expert slope and OBVIOUSLY he's no expert.
.

Funny faces all around - - - this is what we do best, even Great Uncle Jeff.
.

Jason and Finley finding a little snuggle time.
.

How about a picture of all the second cousins.   Hey, what are YOU doing in there Uncle Jeff???
.

Wait!  The babies, Morgan and Finley aren't in the group.   Better hurry!!!
.

You're not fast enough - - - they crawled away.
.

Say "CHEESE!"
.

Who's gonna cut the cake so we can celebrate Peepaw's 84th birthday???  Happy Birthday to you, Peepaw!!!

84??? Gracious, he looks fabulous!

Looks like, from the big family shot that you'll be doing another baby dedication in the next year or so.

Great family shots, thanks for sharing!

Beautiful family photo album of memories being made as we view them with you. Nope, don't watch Weather Channel at all since we've had our cable disconnected...but now I know a cable TV celeb!!! And his work, being so near the shore and Gulf, I've grown a huge awe and thankful, grateful attitude toward those that work for us through the Coast Guard....we see them flying above us very frequently.

Wonderful post.

Love family get-togethers. Ms.Morgan's dedication - I haven't heard of this. What does dedication involve? Is it similar to a communion?

The photos are lovely. And happy birthday to Mr.PeePaw!

(I missed being here!)

Love the pictures! What a great family time. I've been to Sitka, but never watched the show. I will look for it.

I think I had TWENTY pictures of the children, attempting to get all the little cousins in one shot. And I heard other cameras going off too so I don't know if David or someone else got a better one than I did. :) It was pretty funny! Jeff was trying to help keep them all together but the babies were having NONE OF IT.

You are blessed with a beautiful family (family voices and otherwise!) and what a tremendous blessing that your father can be a part of such important family events!

Happy Sunday!

Your dad looks great for 84 years old. I would guess he was in his 70s.

I know you were sorry to miss the dedication, but it looks like you were well represented! Few things are more entertaining than the attempts at getting a decent picture of a bunch of littles. ;)

What a wonderful time you all had and such great photos to keep those special memories alive for years to come.
Oh and lest I forget ...
Happy Birthday Mr. PeePaw
Are you sure they didn't get those candles mixed up on the birthday cake? He looks closer to 48 than 84.

What a happy day! And how fun for your dad to be able to do dedications of HIS babies! Yay!

Curious?? Is PeePaw a common reference. If not, how did he get his name? Most of the grandfathers around my area are called Poppop.

Happy birthday to PeePaw!

WOW! PeePaw looks AMAZING for 84. I wouldn't think he was a day over 65. Seriously.

Ok, with genes from this 84 year old, with a FULL head of hair and NO wrinkles in you..you'll look younger than me in no time! When that happens we can no longer be seen together...
