Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Tailgatin' Fun

.
Each Friday I play "Football Friday" with my classes. It's a game entirely of my own creation in which I give them a list of 9 of the college games for that week and they try to predict who will win each game.

I know - - - SHOCKER that I'd make up a football game.

My Anatomy class, who are all seniors, decided they wanted to have a tailgate party for Football Friday.

Of course it was my tailgate and my lawn chairs that we used.

Everyone helped bring the food - - - and we had quite a spread with nachos, hot dogs, chips & dip, brownies and cupcakes.

They consented to a "posed" picture, and then - - -

A wild and crazy one.

One of these girls tried to hide from my camera, but I got her anyway.

It was a fun "first" in my teaching career.

What fun! I don't think that I had any teachers in H.S. that were fun and cool enough to allow us that kind of fun. No wonder your "kids" love you!

All I can think about it that you have only 10 kids in your class! Can that be true or were more kids than just that one hiding from the camera.

I think you should have football Friday on your blog as well! :) I'd love to know what teams are playing, and I love guessing games when I have a 50% chance of being right.

You are a rockin' teacher!! I go to our local high school football games, and understand most of it, but am not a lover of football like you! Now softball, that's a different story! FYI, my hubs and Drew are at the VA Tech and Marshall game today! They love football:~)

If I had fun teachers like you in school, I might have not ducked out of Anatomy. I might have enjoyed Science in general. As it was I kinda ditched the class and found other things to do in the library...
