Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Eenie, Meenie, Miny, Mo - Catch a Fraggy By the Toe!

.
Being an eclectic blogger and all, I've determined that Friday Frags are my forte.  (And I pronounce that for-tay)

It's a good thing since some weeks I don't seem to be able to post much of anything else.

If you are also an eclectic blogger, why not hurry on over to Mrs. 4444's place and join the fragging party!

And now, for this week's frags:

Is anyone else having trouble using the advanced template features on blogger?  I'm clicking "Design"  "Template"  "Customize" and then "Advanced" just like I always do, but the changes I make in there aren't "taking" on my blog.

I just really, really, really want to change my blog title and description font color, but when I click to change the color, it just stays the same green you see above.

I use Firefox, is the problem in Firefox or blogger?

HELP!

I may well be a tad too transparent.

One of my library friends brought me this new Pig Leaguer which had been given to her sister as a GAG gift.

She brought it knowing that for ME it would be no gag.

Just look at that Bucky face!  That's a face my nail tech, Andy, says  "looks like a skunk trying to be tough."
.
.
And this pig is even wearing Bucky's now famous red and white stripped Wisconsin sweater.
.
.

I think he's happy living in my place, he looks right at home, doesn't he?

On Wisconsin!

Just so you know - - - I GOOGLED and found "eenie, meenie, miny, mo" spelled that way.

I think it LOOKS WRONG.

I think it SHOULD be "eenie, meenie, miney, moe," or even "eenie, meenie, mienie, moe"

That's my opinion and I'm stickin' to it!

Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Say no more.

Fisherhubby e-mailed this to me after he found it on Pinterest.  I can't give it any more credit than that.

African Elephant Down!!!!
.

One of the elephants from my African Savannah went down this week.

Don't worry - - - he's not dead - - - just having a major tusk overhaul.

Disclaimer:  Absolutely NO carved wooden African Savannah animals were harmed in the making of this post.

This is how my snow gauge looked on my birthday, Sunday December 30.

Just look at all that gorgeous snow.

Since then, we've had no appreciable new accumulation and - - -
.
.

With plenty of sunny days, our snow has shrunk down to this.

We NEED more snow.

Correction - - - I'd certainly LIKE more snow.

A LOT of it.

Soon.

It's pretty clear that whoever made this Cheesy Potato O'Brian and Ham Casserole must not cook often enough since she took one look at it and decided it was blog-worthy.

Remember this plunger candy dish/drink holder that was given to Fisherhubby for Christmas?
.
.
Well, I found this cute little cut glass-esque dish to put in the plunger top.

It's kinda like wearing combat boots with a prom dress, no?

Speaking of Fisherhubby and his candy dish - - -

Isn't it rather amazing that this camo clad, bow hunting, ice fishing, Packer loving man can "clean up" and transform into - - -
.
.
The consummate medical professional who not only saves lives but was ALSO named the #1 PA-C in pay (which is based on performance) and number of patients seen in his ER for 2012?

He's really good at what he does, whether it's one of his hobbies, picking on me, playing with our grans, OR making medical diagnoses.

Sometimes I wish the view out my front door was more scenic than the local airport runways.

Then again - - - there are moments when I find it utterly beautiful.

That's all I've got for today,
So please hurry over to Mrs. 4444's place
To see all the other Meenie, Miny, Moe Frags

Totally digged your "Frag" post. Funny. Cool to see life in other parts of the country too. I miss snow.

Regarding new template: Are you going into 'template' and then 'customize'?

That Pig Leaguer is darling...fun, fun!! And your sun shine turning the snow a beautiful mauve is stunning.

I admit that I don't cook very often, but I think the casserole is very blogworthy.
We may be getting some snow today...I will enjoy it for you.

I let out a gasp and said, "Oh My Word!" when I read 'combat boots with a prom dress' because one of my good friends wore purple combat boots with her purple/black prom dress for senior prom. It was awesome.

The view out your front door is beautiful! And that casserole looks like a heavenly dish of comfort food. Yum! Have you put the recipe on your blog before? A hearty "well done!" to FH!

You are the best at frags and I love these posts. As for the blogger issues, some of those new things only work with CHROME. Love the pig and the casserole and everything in between.
hugs, Linda

Lovely frags, as usual, my dear! You continue to keep me inspired!

Now, tell me again how wonderful snow and winter is, because I'm already SO over it.

Problem with changing theme type things is we don't do it often enough to remember how. One suggestion - create a new blog and play around with that one. Change it back and forth - saves you from accidents on the real one.
"eenie, meenie, miney, moe" pick a spelling and stick with it.
Did you paid much for that fancy snow gauge?

Enjoy the game tomorrow.

Fisherhubby cleans up well. I am happy he's No. 1 at work, not just with you. Of course, I don't know about the plunger candy dish. You may be sending him mixed messages about his importance.

Barb said...

It must be Blogger because I use Google Chrome and it's green on here, too.

Fisherhubby does clean up well! Having been in ERs so many times myself, and as a huge fan of the show ER, I have plenty of respect for his profession. Plus I bet he's handy to have around. Heehee.

Love your frags. You made me smile and I really needed that today.

That plunger thingy is too funny and so is the Bucky thingy.

Have a great weekend. Maybe I'll have something to frag about next Friday, cause I surely don't today.

Now a bad view at all...

I dont know if its you or Blogger. I know they are having all KINDS of issues!!

Love the plunger candy dish! Plus in an emergency...well, you get the picture!

I laughed a lot reading your post today and believe me, I needed the laugh!

Fisherhubby cleans up real nice! Spoken in southern that's nice with a real long i! I'm nothing if not southern!

I hope you get more snow, but don't send any my way. It's almost 80 degrees here today and I'm ok with that! Flip flop weather here.

Great frags! Can't say I'm having trouble with Blogger b/c haven't used the advanced lately other than changing the HTML code for my colors, it's been behaving itself and I use Firefox. Don't know what the problem is,

Love the Walmart cartoon!

mzzbev said...

You constantly make me laugh! I absolutely ADORE than pig! Where did she get it?

Doreen McGettigan said...

I don't know where to start your frags are so good as usual...
The Dog going to Walmart photo looks just like a person I know and that person posted that photo on facebook the other day, it was a bit creepy.
I sure could have used your fisher hubby last week. I had to go through some very lemony medical professionals to get to a couple that cared. Congratulations to him!!
That view is beautiful...
We had another slight dusting of snow and today it has been raining all day.
I am going to North Carolina in 2 weeks I'm guessing it will snow like crazy while I'm gone and I'll be sleeping in the airport...
Have a Blessed Weekend!!

Kay said...

Dude, Keetha, you crack me up!! I had no idea fisher hubby did anything other than fishing ;-) and I love your pig. I collect pigs. I hope we both get more snow soon!

I remember giving a plunger filled with candy as a gift one year, only the guy who received it during the game didn't think it was too funny 'cause no one wanted to trade with him! Coming from a plumber we thought it was pretty funny. Oh well, can make everyone laugh.

Stacy said...

I LOVE your sense of humor, woman, but sometimes life is as funny as you imagine. I was sitting here literally LOLing over your comment about combat boots with a prom dress. When my dear, sweet, redneck daughter had the fitting for her prom dress she wore her camo workboots. The seamstress became her biggest fan. :D

Mary said...

Fisherhubby cleans up nicely! who'd have "thunk" it? :)
I just wish we'd get snow. Period. I need a break from school. :)
Interesting gifts you've got there! Looks like you're making the most of it, though!

I think you should apply to be the Poster Child for Eclecticity. (And no; that's not a word, but that could be your opener when you apply! :)

I truly wish I could help. You may be changing the color of something else? Just make sure you've backed up your template, first. Then you can feel comfortable experimenting.

Congrats to your awesome hubby!!

Thanks for linking up! Have a great week.

Wow! That was a super frag post. By the way, to answer your question about whether it is Blogger or Firefox, it is very likely Firefox. I have become frustrated a number of times when changes simply wouldn't show up and my blog would look like a stubborn child.

Then one day I decided to check if it worked on Chrome and everything was fine. Some features will simply refuse to show up in Firefox. Sigh. Another thing that helps in case the problem was Blogger is clearing your "Cache". Just click the Firefox button you see at the top left > go to History > Clear recent history - which will bring on a little pop up where you can choose what you would like to clear up. Sometimes the silly browser remembers what it shouldn't do and needs to be cleaned up!

Your Pig Leaguer is so cute! And I agree with your spelling of eenie meenie miney moe. Looks right to me, too!

That scene at the end is just beautiful.

I always think, Mr FH looks like such a kind person. Being a regular reader of your blog, I am not surprised he's #1.

Hugs!
