Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

End of School Activities - Part Deux - Prom

.
Prom - LCS style.

The word "Prom" is short for promenade which is a slow, leisurely walk to display finery. Traditionally, many high school proms began with a promenade of all the ball-goers onto the decorated dance floor.

At LCS, we don't have a dance, - - - but we have the promenade part anyway. Our promenade ends in a delightful formal dinner.

This year, a few of us rode to dinner together in the people mover. As you can see by Jacob's reaction in the front row - - - it was a lively ride.

Dinner was held at "The Quarry," which was a quite lovely one-of-a-kind sort of place.

Fine Dining:

Table One - - - Seniors and dates.

Table two - - - Juniors and dates.

Table Three - - - Junior - Senior mix.

After Dinner Poses:

Seniors

Seniors and dates

Juniors

These are the boys who were so heart-broken to hear
That our school was closing just before their senior year.

Juniors and dates

Random Poses:

Seniors ham it up a bit.

"Say-Say" and Heather

Jake and Nate

What a nice thing to do even though their is no dance. So, they get to dress up and go out anyway! Truth be told, they probably get to spend much more quality time with their friends and dates since their is not all the loud music.
I know you are feeling a little sad. Thinking of you!

You do not have to be from a big high class school to have a good time. Looks to me like everything was done in good taste and style. Good time was had by all just the way it was done. No matter what they say, it is still rather sad when it is all said and done. Keep busy, relax a while just for yourself.

...and a good time was had by all :)

I'm sure the Seniors are pleased as can be that they get to graduate from your school and I can only imagine the disappointment for the rest of the classes.
