Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

All In A Day - - -

.
WARNING: This is NOT a REAL post. This is just a quick-let-you-know-we're-here post.

Dad and I arrived at our hotel, Mr. Grandstay, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at 3:30 pm Central Time. (I cannot say enough about my LOVE for Mr. Grandstay - FREE WI-FI, clean, spacious rooms, free breakfast - - - that should do for starters. Beats Mr. Days all to pieces.)

We are safe and sound, though we did pass the site of a horrific semi truck wreck/burning. We are sooooo thankful we weren't right there when THAT happened.

We spent three hours visiting with a kissin' cousin for lunch.

Some of you have already asked questions, here are the answers:

Yes - - - no - - - yes - - - - maybe - - - OH I KID!!!!

I came on this trip to be a traveling companion (driver) for my dad.

Yes, I WAS just up here in May - - - FOR A FUNERAL. That is PART of the reason dad wanted to come back now - - - to visit our widower uncle. And before you hear it from any other source - - - next week on THURSDAY hubby and I will be heading RIGHT BACK UP here for vacation. How lucky can a girl get - - - 5 trips to her home state "roots" in 12 months time.

Though dad isn't "wired" he is fully aware of my blogging addiction and very patient with me. While I'M siting here blogging, he is putting new numbers in his cell phone. He even pointed out some photo worthy objects on the way!!!

Now - - - I have a camera full of pictures and a head full of ideas to get ready for a "real" post of today's adventures - - - but I have to edit, plan, & write before THAT will happen. Check back - - - - I bet I have it UP AND RUNNING before midnight. :-)

If your dad actually knows how to put numbers into his cellphone, he's well on his way to being wired. I have to put numbers in my mother's cellphone for her.

Have a great trip.

Way to go K.B.! I just couldn't bare the thought of you being lappy deprived again, after the incident just a couple of weeks ago, remember????? Glad you are up there safe and sound.. Is it sweatshirt weather there? We are straight south 350? miles as the bird flies and it was down right cold here today. 50-60 cloudy. Can't wait to hear the Adventures with Keetha....

I was sure you guys vacation in Wisconsin every summer, and was going to leave a comment asking-thanks for clearing that up!

BTW: I actually did ask our friends to reserve us a cabin in Canada for next year. (Ugh. But I thought about how much the boys would LOVE it). They are completely booked in June during the weeks we want to go.

I have to admit I did a little happy dance when no one was looking. :)
