Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

The Sky and Hills of Vernon County

.

My camera lens is very limited in its ability to capture the sky and hills of Vernon County, but I made an attempt so I could share this wonder of God's creation with you.

It will help to give depth if in each picture you look for objects to whose size you can relate (house, cows, barn, etc)

Enjoy:

4th of July Sky above the Butcher Barn/guest house

Setting sun etching clouds

Sun going to rest behind the hills

Valley Vista

The road into Valley.

(There are many valleys,
Only one is just called Valley)

Some poor misguided state is trying to take
A bit of dairy fame away from Wisconsin - - -

But these are the TRULY happy cows.
They live on these hills in Wisconsin.

What cow wouldn't be happy living here?

For that matter, WHO wouldn't be happy living here?

Feast your eyes.

Pastoral living - - -

Just doesn't get - - -

Any better than this.

Looks so peaceful. Wisconsin is one of the states on my "To Visit" list, since I've never been there.

Love the Wisconsin winding, turning roads. We do a ROAD trip there almost every year! Just glad those weren't the roads my kids took driver's ed on.... Thanks for the pics. The sky, hills, valleys, farm land & happy cows can sure make for a glorious day!!!

Love the little red barn - and I do believe that Happy Cows are found in WI (and Michigan!) You took some lovely lovely landscapes :) Thank you.

Oh good heavens. I had no idea that Wisconsin was so gorgeous. No wonder your dad wanted to go back there. Oh good heavens, I have a new "gotta go" now.

Love the pictures. I love the mountains in California but I do miss the midwest farm towns.

You're right, Keetha. Your beautiful Wisconsin farm country looks a lot like here. I love the quaint little red barn in your photos. Yep, those cows look very happy to me. Why would they want to go to a state that might fall into the Pacific Ocean with the next earthquake? Seriously, those are very cute commercials, aren't they?

Does Wisconsin have commercials where a bull asks a cow, "Hey, do you work out?"
:Glad you are home again, home again. Jiggity-jig!

I don't know how I missed this post, but THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! You really captured the beauty of our favorite state! I especially love the barn pics. I've always wanted to travel the country, or just Wisconsin, and do nothing but take pictures of barns. Love it all!

Hi Keetha,
Oh, I know Vernon county so well. I was always driving down to Viroqua for one of my daughters track meets or ball games ( they are in our conference) And yes, the happy cows do live in Wisconsin! Cindy
