Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Aunt Marie's Party

.

It's been a long time tradition, 50 years long - - - Aunt Marie's 4th of July Party.

That would be my Great-Aunt Marie.

Aunt Marie and Uncle Frank are gone now,
But their sons still own the home place farm.

They continue the tradition - - -

Chuck, my first cousin once removed and - - -

The host with the most.

Loretta, Chuck's wife

Little farm house nestled in the hills.

Today the site of much activity

The quintessential All-American 4th of July
Family celebration.

Scarlet is the name that's in the running for my niece (due in October) - just an FYI.

What a great looking day for a party! Thanks for letting us come to Frank and Marie's 4th of July party, hosted by Head Honcho Chuck (Frank's Boy) lol

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY KEETHA TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY,
I just spent about the last hour reading all the posts I have missed and I didn't even go to sleep with the computer light on...lol
I love meeting your family...they are so nice and funny and that sugar shack was awesome....I just can't believe you didn't ask for at least a baby food jar size of maple syrup....lol...now I would have had to beg for some....my daddy makes pickles every year and believe me...my family aien't shy when it comes to asking for something that will make their life tastier.
I try to get around to see everybody but I fail miserably.
Angel hugs
debbie

What a great way to celebrate the 4th with family. I loved seeing the home place. So many are gone now days. It was nice that the sons cared enough to keep it. Be careful coming home.

This is so neat! We do the same thing! For Family Reunions at my house we set up several cheap little pools for the younger set...often times they're not in too good of shape afterwards.
We do the nametags too. Mine would say Lily Koch Rolfs
Delmar Rolfs
Cindy Rolfs K----
