Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

The Many Faces of Gull Lake

.
By the time this post publishes today we will be - - -

Gone from the shores of our beloved northwoods lake.

(Remember those best laid plans of mice and men??? Well THIS time they didn't go astray - - - but they DID change. We were given an extra night in "The Little Cabin on Gull Lake," so we AREN'T traveling today. BUT - - - I'm still going to let this post run as maybe my only post for today.)

We will have left the tranquility behind and will be speeding (well, not BREAKING the speed limit I hope) back to the routines of our regular lives.

As we go,

I am leaving these images of Gull Lake for you to enjoy.

This one is nearly the identical setting of my blog header - - - just different day, different light, different water, different sky.

Peace,

Be still.

An Extra Day! Master fisherman to catch more fish! and a beautiful, lovely lake to take in for another day. I've truly enjoyed our week together - thanks so much for blogging while vacationing. I would have missed you so very very much :)

Keetha the pictures are beautiful.
We go to a cabin each summer on Lake George in Mammoth Lakes, CA.
Love the photos of the Loons. Glad you had a wonderful vacation.

Looks like there was a loon-ar landing. They all stopped in for loon-ch.
Sorry about my loon-acy but you started it.
What a beautiful spot to vacation. I can hear the sounds of the the loons in my head. No wait...that is just some loony tunes.

I love that lake. Your pictures are beautiful, and I have a book in my mind to go along with the pictures...Memories are such wonderful things. Sometimes I think I'd like to rent a cabin on that lake for a week, and enjoy a "staycation". I'm happy you had another happy vacation. Maybe next year we'll see you when you come up..."Gwen from the Northwoods"

Ah. Northern Wisconsin. I miss it. Birch trees, for one thing. I don't miss deerflies, though.

Lovely photos.

Blogger's spam fighter wants me to type in "roses." I think I can handle that.
